Looks like no-one has posted yet so here goes!

I'm off work again. Hips are agony again. I tried to get in to see my GP as it's getting me down and I think my chest infection is back again too. Sadly they were full and I have to ring back at 9 to try and get an appointment for Friday. On the plus side, Mini Motti is becoming quite wriggly which is lovely, if not rather odd. It really does feel like lots of twitchy muscles.

Oops - Splosh and I obviously think today is Tuesday - hopefully will be a pleasant surprise when the weekend gets here quicker.  Have copied my post below.

Nich - sorry to hear your hip is so bad, hope you get an appointment soon.

Feeling abit queasy today and my stomach is feeling delicate - it is hard to know what is pregnancy related and what could be a bug.  I'm at work so I will see how things go this morning (fortunately I only live a five minutes walk from work so can get home easily if necessary)

Baby wise - nothing much to report - starting to accept that the movement is baby and not wind as it is getting more regular.  It is lovely to feel.  5 days to the scan and I had a horrible dream about it last night it was not nice but I am sure that it will be okay.

Morning Nich - poor you with your hips. Is it pregnancy related or do you often suffer? And a chest infection to boot! No fun at all. Agreed on the twitchy muscles, feels like a little pull here and there. Hope you feel better soon xx

DB - Hope you feel better soon, at least you are getting regular movements now! The scan will be great, promise!

Spolosh - Have a good meeting and speak a bit later. Always interested to hear what stage you're at, being a day ahead of me!

AFM wiggly, wriggly baby and hormones feeling a bit better. Work has eased off, which helps, and only 3 days til a 3 day weekend for me! Not that Monday will be relaxing, house cleaning and waiting for new sofas/Sky broadband to arrive. At least I will be able to hitch properly again - hurrah!

    Morning everyone,

Nichola, sorry to hear about your hips.  But lovely about the baby wriggling about!

daisybrown - sorry you are feel quesy.

splosh - another wriggly baby, I dont remember E wrigling much but I had an anterior placenta.

Well, I'm now 15 weeks and feeling awful. Like last time the nausea is getting worse.  I really dont feel good today at all Bawl   It lasted till 23+ weeks last time, so I guess I better get used to it, and it got worse at 12/13 weeks last time too, so I should really not be surprised.

If it goes on much longer I think I'll try get anti nausea tablets, last time merely prescribing them got rid of it Laugh I didnt have to take any.

Still waiting for a date for my 20 week scan, cant wait as we are going to try find out if its a boy or a girl (I am thinking girl again, but well, you just cant tell can you?).

I am sure I am maybe getting wee movements (is that maybe why I am feeling sick?)  but it may just be wind Laugh how can you tell?

    Wave everyone else.

  • Re: *Wednesday 2nd Trimester*

Ah I didn't even notice that other thread, I just scanned for a Wednesday 2nd tri!

daisybrown, I hope things are ok at work and that the stomach feelings are baby and not a bug.

Splosh, hope the day at work is ok and meeting goes well. Yay for wriggly baby.

Nixxy, physio thinks I've always had the problem and that's why I've had trouble with the ankle and knee on the same side and pregnancy has just aggrivated it and I have SPD on top of this wonky pelvis thing.Glad you agree with me on the twitchy muscles.

Smiley, sorry to hear you are still suffering with nausea. I think anti nausea sounds like the right way to .

I've managed to get an appointment at the GPs but its not until 4pm on Friday.

    Hello Wave

Nichola - sorry to hear about your hips, i hope it gets easier for you

daisybrown - hope your queasiness eases a bit. I think i remember having the pre scan nightmares as well and of course it was all nothing to worry about

Splosh - hope the meeting goes well. Nice that you have a wriggly baby

NixxyNoo - yay for a wriggly baby for you too!

Smiley - hope the sickness wears off before you expect them to, it makes your day so much worse doesnt it.

AFM - been to work and back already, im so tired today could sleep for hours! Ive started to feel the baby alot now but i wouldnt say shes an active little thing, ive only known her to be really active once and that was 2 days ago. Im still undecided on a water at hospital birth or a home birth Confused Finish work in around 8 weeks when im 29 weeks althought wont start ML til 33 weeks as I have some annual leave to take first. I would have left it longer but im a cleaner and walk up tonnes of stairs and im already so out of breath, dont think ill be able to do that when im massive and its hot!! xx

Right I am back. Meeting wasn't toooooo awful!

Nichola - Sorry to hear your hips are agony & your chest infection is back. Sounds like you could do with taking the rest of the week off & resting up fully Hug

Daisybrown - what are we like? I have no idea why I thought this morning was Tuesday! But YAY for being 1 day closer to the weekend! Pre-scan dreams are worrying aren't they. I am sure all will be well. As you say, you are feeling more & more movements now & I always find that really encouraging.

Nixxy - Wave Hi love. Glad to hear work has eased off & YAY for a long weekend.

Smiley - Sorry to hear you are feeling so rough. Hope nausea doesn't last as long this time for you. It's exhausting feeling sick constantly for 12 weeks, so I have no idea how people cope when that continues in the 2nd trimester Hug

Supernatural - I am still undecided on a waterbirth at home too. Am currently keeping options open until we've had our growth scan at 34 weeks (My daughter was a pretty big baby, so they are keeping an eye on this one too). Great that you only have 8 weeks left at work though!

AFM, as I said, baby is lovely & wriggly. Makes me smile at random moments! I slept sooo much better last night with a pillow between my knees & slightly under my bump. So all good today.

I wonder exactly HOW excited Max is with just a couple of days until her wedding! Laugh. Looking forward to seeing photos!

    Have a great day all

    Good afternoon ladies

    How are you all?

Nichola - sorry to hear about your sore hips. Hopefully the GP will be able to do something on Friday

DaisyBrown - don;t think I've said hello before? Wave

Nixxy - short working week sounds good. I have to wait until the end of April to go down to 4 days Sad

Smiley - hope you feel better soon.

Supernatural - I quite fancy a waterbirth but there's only 2 pools at my hospital.

Splosh - glad you had a good night's sleep. I've ordered a pillow from amazon so hopefully it'll be here soon.

AFM - nothing much to report. I bought sooooooo much stuff from Mothercare online last night. It's all stuff to go in Rascal's room.

I still need a few staple outfits, I've got most stuff but want to get some tiny baby just incase it's on the small side. However, judging by the 'aren't you massive?' comments from work I doubt that's likely. I didn't think I was that big but now I'm starting to get paranoid that I'm heyooge Laugh

    Afternoon all,

Nichola - So sorry to hear about yourhip.  I hope the GP can help and that you get an appointment on Friday.

daisybrown - Hope the next 5 days fly by and the scan is here before you know it.

Nixxy Noo - Glad to hear you're feeling better.

Smiley - Bugger off nausea vibes for you.

Supernatural - I'm also undecided on home/hospital birth.  I still feel like I've got ages left yet, which is silly, as I haven't.

Splosh - I think I might have to get some pillows out soon too, at the minute I'm sleeping ok, but it's the getting comfy to start with that can be tricky.

Kathryn - People are quite rude and always tell you you're huge (well, they do in my experience).  I bet you're completely normal.

AFM - Just back from my 25 week midwife appointment.  All is well.  I'm measuring a coupe of cm small, but within the 3 either way they allow.  I'm not at all worried, I look huge and measured slightly behind with C, despite having a tremendous bump.  Not much to report, really.  I have Parents Evening tomorrow - ugh! So I'll be knackered by the time I get in and won't see C much. Cry

Going to go and do a bit of tidying while C is napping.

Evening everyone, not sure if there is anyone still around!

Not a bad day here, some interesting meetings at work and lots of baby wriggles to keep me entertained. Am starting to be able to feel what I think is head and bottom through bump now, so interesting trying to work out what is what! Couple of things I bought on ebay have come today, so looking forward to opening them after tea.

    Love to all,

    Margot

Hi again all. Been in pain all day and got a really annoying call from work, which they shouldn't do while I'm off work so that has peed me off no end. I managed to get a doc appointment but it's not until 4pm on Friday. Oh and I have a poorly sick husband to add into the equation now too, he's not going to work tomorrow either.

Supernatural, I admire you for even contemplating a home birth! I  think your job would be v hard to continue heavily preggers.

Splosh, glad you slept well and yay for wriggly baby.

Kathryn, woo hoo for buying things, exciting! I doubt very much you are huge. Having seen the photos on your facebook from the wedding you look far from it.

Margot, glad baby Simples provided you with entertainment during meetings! Oh and yay for ebay buys!
