Isla rolled over from front to back for the first time on Monday. She is 17 weeks

She hasn't rolled from back to front yet...

Don't worry. All babies are different. C will roll when she is ready. I know it's hard, but try not to compare her to other babies too much, she is still so little. She will get there in her own time Hug

A did a freak roll at 14 weeks then nothing til 19 weeks when she was suddenly doing it ALL THE TIME!

E did front to back yesterday, and back to front just this morning! She's 22 weeks.

One of A's friends didn't roll at all, or even really crawl, before walking, and I remember feeling very envious whilst I was chasing around after A and her mum got to sit and drink a cuppa! They all catch up in the end though and she walked before A did Laugh

Izzy would occasionally roll accidentally front to back, but never back to front until the day after she started crawling 2 weeks ago, at 8.5 months. Now at every change she rolls over and tries to crawl away

K rolled back to front at 16 weeks but A didn't do it until she was exactly 6 months.  Now, I can't stop her!  Now when she's on her front she really pushes with her knees so I don't think she'll be a late crawler even though she was relatively late rolling.

She can't get roll front to back which causes lots of frustration!

R & W are 23 weeks now and haven't rolled yet. They do with the tiniest bit of help from me and look mighty pleased when it happens but don't seem too bothered about trying it. Much more fun to put your legs in the air and try and catch your toes or eat your sister's feet. R does however try to crawl when she is on her tummy. I am not too worried. Every child is different, they'll start when they are ready.

I think Finlay did it once at around 6/7/8 months but he really mastered it at 18 months  after he could crawl and walk.

Gabrielle rolled back to front when she was exactly 4 months and front to back a couple of weeks later. But her little friend born on the same day as her is showing no interest in doing it yet and some of the older babies aren't doing it either, so don't worry, they will do it in their own time.

Sophie's only rolled twice, from front to back, in the last few days and she's 7 months today.  Charlotte was similar but crawled and walked at a very average age :)

I know the main reason for them not rolling very early is because they never get the opportunity to learn - neither have liked being lying down and are either carried, slung or sitting upright!
