AAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!! - UPDATED WITH FLASH!!!

Sorry girlies but i'm really cross!!! As you know i did some rather risque photos specially for OH and got a pretty nasty reaction form the one side of the family. Well I've just been back on FB and they're still slagging me off!!! The sad thing is this is my dad's side of the family who we dont really see TBH and I was hoping our wedding would be a good opportunity for everyonne to see and get on with eachother again. At this rate they wont be bloody coming, Im so cross.

Don't know what to suggest to be honest other than *** slap the lot of them!!! That probably won't help though...

the really annoying thing is that they think they're being subtle about it!!!! as if i wont undertand wht thy're on about!!! i hell im proud of doing my photos and showing my body off, ive hated myself for years and am finally beginning to love and accept myself for who i am (although i want bigger boobs lol), i need to slap something!!!

thats infuriating!! why are some people like that! Let them get on with snidy remarks and just remember how much fun you had doing the shoot!

Rise above it... you looked fabulous and that's all that counts!

oh i know but its driving me nuts. and i feel bad for my dad aswell as he doesnt exactky have the best of relationships his side of the family

I agree with Mrs C. Just rise above it. If they can see it's bothering you, they'll play up even more. I'd completely ignore it, that's the grown up and dignified thing to do, something which they clearly are not! We know you're fab! x

As long as you and your OH think you look fab that's all that matters.  There is plenty of time before your wedding to uninvite people!

Best not to tell people about your photoshoot.  What happens in the photographers studio, stays in the photogrpahers studio... 

I think I'd be crossing them off you guest list. Maybe use FB yourself to say how restricted you are on numbers and how hard it is to choose, but luckily some candidates are making it easier for you to cross them off.

Thats a shame your family are reacting in that way though! Just ignore them!

How did everyone know about your photoshoot?

I do agree with GeordieBarbie - if I did one it would be just between OH and I, and some of my very closest friends.

It obviously doesn't excuse their behaviour but I do think things like that should perhaps not be shared with family etc.

How do they even know what the photos look like? You havnt put them on facebook have you?!! If you have then to be honest you have to expect people to have all kinds of different reactions to them.

If it were me i would have kept it to myself - i dont think i would want my and my OH's parents/family knowing i had given my OH some naughty photos of myself - bit wierd!

Have they seen any of the pics?

I did a photo session but I don't think like the ones you did and whilst I did tell my parents they have no idea what the pics were like. I may have shown them one pic that is just of my face but I wouldn't tell any other family members or show them anything.

If you have said the pics are playboy type ones then people are unfortunately going to be judgemental. That doesn't excuse them slagging you off but some people are narrow minded and feel that their opinion is worthy of being shared.

Rise above it and just never mention the pics again and they will soon get bored. If you feel that strongly then cull them or speak to them and say your life is your business and they either shut up or bugger off.

i have a very close realtionship with my mum and i tell her everything so she knows, all i pu as my status was "i did my FHM style shoot today and had a brilliant time" or words to that effect, the way they're going on its like ive become a porn star!!!
