What's been good, bad and ugly for you today/this week?

    Me

The Good: I had a wonderful lunch with the family

The Bad: Today should have been my brothers 36th birthday Sad

The Ugly: H got braces Embarrassed And I feel horrible saying that but I really don't like them. I am sure I will get used to them and I am in support of him having them, especially whilst treatment is free but......I really don't like them.

    Hug for today

The Good: Im enjoying H having some time of work and doing family things.

The Bad: H having to return to work on sat :(

The ugly: im not really sure.....

  • Re: MILK The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

    Hug about your brother CM

The Good: Noah did his first laugh for me on Mother's Day Fluffy

The Bad: Our bank accounts were stopped this week as we went so far overdrawn and we now officially can't survive on my reduced wage with H being unemployed. I am having to consider returning to work in 8 weeks rather than September as planned unless he finds something sharpish Bawl

The Ugly: Poor Noah has hideous infected eczema all over his lovely face, and we are having to slap on the steroid creams now in an attempt to get it under control. Poor mite keeps clawing at it and making it worse.

  • Re: MILK The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Hug Smarties that sounds tough! P has horrid infected eczema too on her face.....when people glance at her they think she has a messy face as it's so bright red. We have a dermatologist appointment on Friday and it's not a moment too soon! Also, from my own experience, contact your banks and people about the work situation. huge Hug as it's a horrid situation to be in

First off, a BIG hug to Chunky Monk Hug hope you are ok?

    Mine would be:

The Good:  I had lunch and spent the afternoon with a friend and her 2 little boys.  My first afternoon out with just me and Austin and it was fab.  I had a great time.

The Bad:  Austin has a stuffy nose and not only is it affecting his sleep, but it is making him throw up loads after each feed.

The Ugly:  Well, me I think Laugh.  I am covered in sick, didn't get a chance to put any make-up on today, and my roots need doing as all my grey is showing through!  My skin is also really dry and spotty, and of course my hair is starting to fall out post baby.  So I am a grey haired, slightly balding, scaley skinned minger at the mo! Hugs to everyone who's having tough times this week.

    For me;

The Good: It was Will's 2nd Birthday at the weekend and he had a fab time and a lovely party...he was so excited! And it was fab to see all my friends and family together at once.

The Bad: Will's tantrums at the moment!! Everything is a battle and it's so wearing. I just want him to be lovely all the time!!

The Ugly: My H is working every night this week and most of next and so I'm home alone and doing tea/bath/bed every night for the forseeable! Not that bad really...couldn't think of a real ugly!!

Hug to everyone who needs them. Here's mine:

Good (can I have 2?): I got a surprise BFP on Saturday; S showed me how he could walk with a walker today!

Bad: S is still not sleeping through - he's broken and wakes at least once an hour every night - this has been going on for a month and I'm shattered! I want my sleep-through-the-night baby back!

Ugly: Now I have my BFP, the major diet is out the window and I fell so ugly at my current size

Hug to CM, Smarties and others having tough times at the  mo.

Good - we had our low offer accepted on a house we want to buy and 2 higher than expected offers on our house, so now we can move, hurrah!

Bad -  can't think of one at the moment, for now, life is good.

Ugly - definitely me too.  The stress of the last few days has turned my face into that of a teenager, with horrible greasy itchy skin and a few big whitehead spots.  I might have to invest in some clearasil.
