  • Disneyland Paris Hotel Recommendations needed please

    Hello

I'm about to book our first ever trip to Disneyland Paris and just wondered if anyone has any recommendations for which hotel to choose please.

    Many thanks

We stayed at the Sequoia Lodge and paid a little extra for a montana room in the main building to be closer to everything.  It was really lovely and we took advantage of the early opening times for those staying in disney hotels - no queues!

I have been twice and i have stayed in The Holiday Inn and Newport Bay Hotel

The newport bay hotel is right on the lake, which means you can walk to the park and the disney village within 10mins or so.

The Holiday inn, you have to get a little bus that takes you to and from the park every 10mins or so.

If i was to go again i would definatly stay in the Holiday inn, as the only thing different i saw was the location, if you dont mind taking a little bus to and from then go for The holiday inn

Others that are by the Holiday inn which have been reccomended by friends are 'The exporlorers hotel' 'magic circus hotel'   These are alot cheaper than the other hotels which are classed as 'disney' hotels. but are still up to good standard

I've stayed in the Sequoia Lodge (Montana Room) too and can really recommend that.  This year I'm staying in the Hotel New York (going in May half-term).

If you stay in Sequoia Lodge I'd recommend a Montanna room as the standard rooms as outside the main building.  The Newport Bay is the biggest hotel in Europe so you can be a long way from the lifts etc (10-15 minute walk sometimes!)

I think whether you stay onsite or not will depend on whether you want to use your 'extra magic hours' or not.  These are only available to onsite hotels and are useful if you want to go on the more popular rides at quieter times.   Basically you get in the parks at 8 am instead of 10 am...

There is up to 40% off the onsite hotels at the moment and you can get another 7% off if you book through Thomas Cook. Wink

We stayed in the Santa Fe. Was basic but clean, we only slept there the rest of the time we were at the park anyway. the walk to the park wasn't  too far even with a 3yr old on foot.
