Max! How exciting for you. Can't wait to read all about your wedding, good luck and hope you have an absolutely fantastic time.

MrsL how lovely of your hubby to do that for you. Take it easy today Mrs.

Splosh, my work are just ungrateful. If they say anything more I shall just unleash crazy hormonal pregnant lady on them.

DaisyB, I vote for movements over wind too! Laugh

NN, baby is fine thanks. Although it's certainly fidgeting around in there, I've started get breathless quite easily - I conveniently forgot about that pregnancy side effect. It's a shame your OH doesn't seem interested. I bet he is, he's probably just a bit naff at showing it. I think it's really difficult for some men to relate to pregnancy, the changes happening now are all happening to the woman. (Except for those convenient sympathy pains that are 10 times worse than yours of course) He might feel a but detached from the process if that makes sense. If it's any comfort my OH was totally freaked out last time, but from the moment DS was born he was and is an absolutely brilliant Dad. He told me afterwards that it was really difficult to see my body change so radically so quickly, knowing there was nothing he could do about it. Men are just funny creatures sometimes - have a chat to him, and don't despair! Have you thought of getting him a book to read on the subject, from a male point of view?

Hepburn, the diversion is there until the end of April I think. Curse you Southern Gas! Glad you got to hear BB's heartbeat today too. It's a great sound isn't it Smile

Hi all. I wont even try and do personals now.

As for me, I made it to work but that was probably not the right thing. I doubt very much I'll make it in tomorrow as I am in agony. Bloody stupid pelvis.

    Nixxy Noo:

Docs - Ooooh what to BH feel like? I didn't realise you can get them so early on Eek I've had a bad stomach on and off through this pregnancy too and sometimes it's been so painful I've thought exactly the same thing. You know what I started to do? Use it as practise to start the breathing exersizes Laugh and it actually worked. Tried to calm myself and breathe through the pain - try it next time. i think you'll probably feel better after chatting to a midwife about it also.

Exactly what i did- you can get BH from 16 weeks apparently- i don't know if these are them but they feel different to kicks and someone described them as flutters or as if baby turning all the way over- i don't hink he has that much room to do that) so i don't know but i was just wondering if they were will ask MW on monday. They are not supposed to be painful but very irregular which these were.

I think it was a dodgy tummy but really unpleasant and probably the worse i have ever had- gone now. Thank you for get wells- think i'm just fed up of getting colds and being deaf. And MIL keeps on giving me lectures about vitamins- i'm on mutlivit and eating loads of fruit- but she doesn't realise i see 30+ sick people everyday who cough and splutter on me compared to her. Hopefully it will go soon.
