Got my new passport back...

And strangely feel a bit sad...  I've been me for 32 years - feels slightly odd being a different name.  Also, my old passport photo was well nice, I was smiling.  New rules won't let you so I look a bit freaky

Still - means I can now difintely go on honeymoon since the tickets have all been booked in my new name!! 

Woooo, that came back pretty quickly!

I was talking to my friend the other day about the whole name change thing and she was saying that she was all happy about changing her name until it has got closer (she gets married in 3 months) and is now feeling a bit odd about it all. I am currently excited about it too as it feels like we are more of a couple (odd I know!!!) but I am sure I will be the same as everyone else when it gets closer.

My passport picture is really freaky at the moment, I look like I am on drugs or somehting so cant wait to change mine!

I did mine and sent it with check and send and thought it would take approx 2 weeks and it was back within 10 days or so

Yeah - mine was about 10 days too!

Very strange!!  You wait your whole life to get married and change your name but it's a slightly odd feeling when you do! 

Still, at least I can go on the honeymoon now!  Panic over!
