Mine was a pretty traumatic birth - my mum has always talked about it but still finds the memory quite upsetting.
I was overdue - at least two weeks, although in the aftermath they think it was probably closer to 3 weeks (my mum had quite irregular periods). My mum had high blood pressure in the later stages of pregnancy and because she lived in a tiny village on the west coast of Scotland she was admitted to hospital near Glasgow for a few weeks prior to my birth. As she showed no signs of going into labour she was eventually induced and things progressed reasonably but I got stuck and was a forceps delivery.
It turns out I was a big baby (11lb 3oz) and I suffered shoulder dystocia and as a result of brachial plexus injury I have an erb's palsy in my left arm. Unfortunately the obstectrician who had overseen my mum's pregnancy was on leave the week I was born and the locum was a Nigerian who was a complete tit and refused to give her any pain relief saying that the women in his country managed without any so she could too!
I was whisked away after I was born and because my mum was a nurse she knew that meant there was a problem but no one would tell my parents what was happening for about an hour. My dad saw me in the special care baby nursery and he said it was unfortunate that they had put me next to premature twins as I weighed more than the two of them combined and looked like a giant!
When the original obstetrician came back he wanted my parents to pursue a formal complaint as it turns out that the midwives had tried to get the locum to send mum for a c-section and he had basically told them to p*ss off but my parents were young (21) and couldn't face the prospect of it all.
So not great but my mum went on to have a straightforward delivery with my little sister which helped a bit.
