    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

    Is all i can say

I have different amounts coming out and now i have different letters from them saying that the amount i paid in 3-4 yrs ago is wrong and so is the tax!

Why can't they just say how much i owe so i can pay it off and get them off my back but i'll probably end up over paying them

Then i get a letter saying i'm not working according to them! What do i do every day?!

    Anyone else had problems?

Have you tried contacting them? Last time i did it was all just automated and you couldn't actually get through to a human being!

Oh I know it's ridiculous. What is so hard about telling you the current status of your account?

I had to basically get all of my SLC statements and pay slips and work out myself what was what. Then I wrote to them with photocopies and got about a tenner back Laugh

I completely agree.  H has finished paying his off and THEY told us he's made overpayments of £300 - yet we still have to send a load of payslips to prove it before they send the money back Bang head

If you have the type of loan that it comes directly off your wage blame HMRC.  Getting info from them is like getting blood from a stone. Laugh

I've found out that you can look directly on line to youor account that is apparently up to date- paid off some and it did come off directly. But still don't know if it is up to date with my recent wage slips.

I think if you pay directly on the website then it should come off, but if it goes through HMRC I am pretty sure that it will only be up to date with the info given by HMRC. Not sure how often they update though.

I find them a nightmare.  I've got to find information from 2007 to prove that I've paid then £1600 that they haven't and won't credit to my account.
