how is everyone travelling to the wedding?  We have found a church we like but it is a good 3 miles from the wedding so not sure how to get there???

  • Re: travelling to the wedding

I hired a daimler for me and my dad to get to the church and then after the ceremony myself and my husband travelled to the reception in it.

We also hired a car for the bridesmaids and my mum.

It's about 30 mins for us to get to our venue, we are hiring a limo for us all. I prefer to be surrounded by people to stop me getting too nervous and I know my dad feels the same. Xxx

Unfortunately i can't afford anything flash and we're quite far from the venue- So i've just ordered a private exec car xx

we are all staying at venue the night before so won't need any transport on the day for anyone. however my bf had a horse and cart on her wedding day and it was absolutely amazing...it didnt work out any more expensive than having a posh car xx

We're a good hours drive from registry office to reception venue (the perks of living in the countryside lol) so we've hired an exec car like meggles and a bus for the all the guests. cheapest and easiest way of doing it!

well we havent actually hired them yet, but we hare looking into getting a rolls royce, for me and dad to go to the church, and a damiler for the BMs and mum. and then when leaving the church, me and OH will leave for the reception in the rolls, and the rest of the bridal party in the damiler.

I think that possibly the OH is making his own way to the church in a tractor tho!!  He has said that he doesnt need the cars at his house in the morning...that they will sort their own transport!
