  • A big thank you - hitched rocks!

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone that replied to my moany bfing threads since A was born - I can't quite believe he will be 9 weeks tomorrow - feeding wise things have got so much better over the past 2 weeks or so to the point that i no longer dread feeding time and it really doesn't hurt anymore (touch wood!). Probably helped by the fact he feeds more quickly now (was a bit concerned that his feeds dropped from 30mins to 15-20ish almost overnight but he still put on 7ozs last week). I just looked back at my threads and all the lovely advice and encouragement you lovely ladies gave me and it brought a tear to my eye - i'm really not sure i'd have got this far without you all.

So i'm sending virtual cake/ chocolate/ wine to all of you.

Thank you all so much again

    xxxx

Well done Goldfish - I have managed 18 weeks and it's amazing how much easier it gets (although I seem to have got another blister - not as painful as last time).  Olivia started at 9lb 3oz and is now 13lb 5oz - so although she isn't putting on much weight she is healthy and happy.

    Keep it up x

Well done for persevering. You've not had an easy ride by any account, so a bit fat pat on the back is much deserved. As is cake.

Cheers lovely to hear it's getting easier!

Well done lovely!  Youve done so well.

We are still going strong aswell despite dabbling in mix feeding and giving one formula feed and expressing but are now 100% breastfeeding and still going strong.   F also feeds much quicker - sometimes less than 10mins but is now 12lb 6oz so must be doing something right!!

ah you aren't too far - you should come to a bluewater meet - its probably about half way between us.

  • Re: A big thank you - hitched rocks!

Dont think im brave enough to drive that far just yet!  Maybe when F is a bit older though!  You need to post some more pics on your facebook account so I can see how much A has grown! xx

Well done you, you did it all yourself you know, we just propped you up a bit.

I promise you it'll get so much easier as you keep going, you're through the very very toughest part.  Time to reap the rewards of ready=packed milk on all your outings.
