    <random musing>

    Sara Cox has just had a little girl called Renee. Her other two are called Isaac and Lola IIRC - am I alone in thinking none of these names 'go' together? They strike me as three very different styles of name IYSWIM.

    Didn;t she just go on maternity leave at the weekend?  Flippin 'eck

    Renee doesn't feel like it 'fits' with the other two really no. And I suppose Isaac and Lola don't match but they sound alright together I think. Renee does sound like a bit of an add-on maybe?

    I actually think that they sound good together.  Not too matchy matchy names.   They are not way out there, but are all on the more unusual side.  I approve and I am sure that Sara would be pleased to know that Laugh

    Why don't you think they go together?

    I actually think the opposite, that Lola, Isaac and Renee all match and seem quite similar...?

    Is that just me?!

    I guess they all have different origins but they all seem to go to me, they're all quite unusual but not too weird, if that makes sense.

    ooh i think they sound lovely together. different enough not to be matchy matchy but similar enough as well.

    didn't she only go on mat leave this weekend just gone?

    I like them ,infact if ethan was a girl he was to be ava renee. I don't know why people find the need to "match" names of siblings. They are each individual wee people and will suit different names so why try to search for a name that matches the other?. If I liked a name for a baby I'd choose it whether it "matched" the other siblings or not.

    Sorry - posted then went away for the weekend! It's obviously just me with the matching names thing! I don't necessarily think they *ought* to match, just am surprised that the same parent(s) chose names that to me, seem quite different styles IYSWIM? Anyway, sure no-one cares anymore but didn't want to post and then vanish!
