So ladies how many of you have been called by his Exs name??? As its Friday!

Just curious if I am the only one! My OH calls me by his ex wifes name (not so much these days) but believe me he has done it in EVERY situation lol It used to really bother me, but now.......... I just go get a sticker, write on it "My Name is Sara" and wear it for the rest of the day/evening lol! Oh yeah he has even called by dad by his ex father in laws name, lucky he didn't hear!!!

Ha! I have once - luckily he likes his ex it's not like he thinks she's an evil b**ch.

I don't think I've done it to him, but I have got messed up on places that I've gone with an ex that I thought I'd gone with him.

ha, luckily its not happened to me! He has always got my name right, but it is weird as I have the same name as his mum, so he's not likely to forget it! but he does call me mazza most of the time rather than moya.

Ha! I can understand that - my ex's name was Mike, the same as my dad's and it felt really odd at first - I used to call him Mickey

Yep, not for a while though and I never got stroppy...I'd just look at him and laugh!!! In all fairness we're only 1 letter out: I'm Viv and she's Vic! Never called him another name though.....apart from "Oi sh*thead"!

Never directly... the first time he was talking to his mum and her name just slipped out. They left me in the kitchen for ages and I can just picture him in the living room with his mum mouthing "oh feck"! It was quite funny at the time. I've done it twice so far but luckily never to his face.

After we had been together for about a year, we went to his mates wedding. I walked to to see the table plan and I was listed as *her* !!! Not a happy bunny. Place name was *her*, bride kept calling me *her* name... I then proceeded to get very drunk indeed!

I do see *her* in our local pub a lot - my friends and I have now resorted to calling her horse face. This makes me feel better!

OH's only ever done it once and we were arguing at the time.  I wasn't impressed but he was mortified enough that it was quite funny.  However, his mum and nan call me her name all the time (in fact more than they actually get it right).  Our names are not at all simlar and she is not a very nice person.  I bite my tongue whenever they do it and it does bother me but OH hates it.  I just hope they don't do it on the wedding day.

It always happens to me, with brother in law to be. I rarely get called my name, its always his ex's name.

But his brother has a slight disability and i dont think he does it on purpose so i just try and ignore it.

He hasn't, but I called him 'Mum' once!! That didn't go down too well. I was tired...
