Sophie Atay - update and Facebook page

I hope no one minds me posting this but some of you may remember there was a thread on Hitched about Sophie Atay, a beautiful little girl suffering from neuroblastoma. Her Appeal had been featured on GMTV and her Mum Karine also responded to the thread giving details of the appeal.

Unfortunately, it looks as though Sophie has very little time left, she is getting weaker every day. The reason I am posting this is that her Mum is trying to raise awareness of this hideous disease and is aiming to raise the membership of Sophie's Facebook page to 30,000. We still need approx 1000 members and I was hoping that some of you would like to join too.

Oh that is so sad. I donated a little for her treatment and really had my fingers crossed for her. I have joined the group and am now sat here sobbing at the injustice of it. her poor parents, how on earth do you deal with something like this? I had a quick look at karine's fb profile and read her updates, she seems so strong and together and just amazing.

Thank you all so much for joining and supporting Sophie and her family.  We're almost at 30,000 which is fantastic.  

It is absolutely heartbreaking to read about this brave little girl and her incredible family.  I gave my own children an extra big kiss and cuddle tonight. x

Have joined too, my heart goes out to her family, they must be devastated xx
