What are your OH's doing for their stag nights??

The best man has been winding me up big style.

Apparently they're going to Manchester and everyone but OH is going to need 3 digits, which rules out all of my family (OH is closer to them than his own)

A lot of his friends won't be able to afford that either!!

My main issue though is strippers. The idea makes me feel sick and shaky!! It feels almost as bad as being cheated on!!!!!

But when I said to BM i hate the idea he said the more I protest the more he'll book!!

I'm stressing out now :(

Mine is having 2 joint stag nights with his brother (BM) as he gets married 3 months after us.  They are going to Manchester for the first one and abroad for the second one.  I'm a bit bothered by the cost too, his brother has planned everything pretty much to his and his friends budget, not appreciating that OH earns less than a third of what he does.

As far as strippers go, I'm not in the slightest bit bothered.  OH has been to lap dancing clubs before with his mates and I'm really not fussed.  There is absolutely no harm in looking, it's not like he's going to go off and have an affair with any of them!!  Maybe that's just me but I really am totally comfortable with it (might have something to do with working in a very male environment for 5 years....)

I know lots of ladies will probably be fine with this but Im with you Mrs Tonner!  I think that I find the idea of him perving over someone for fun worse than the idea of him feeling something for someone and having an affair!  But I bet best man is having loads of fun winding you up about it now he knows your fear (why are men like that!?!)

Im not sure what OH is actually doing (hopefully not going away as Im not sure we can afford it!) but I know I will spend the whole night/weekend stressing about it.  Sorry, not much help am I !?

I know what you mean about strippers, i dont like that idea either.

But if they are gonna have one they will, whether we like it or not.

Hopefully its gonna be a cheap one for mine as we wont have the money cause we'll have just bought a house!

I think my OH is going on long weekend abroad, spain or somewhere!! Which is great cos then i get to go away too!!

If you really hate the idea of strippers then just tell the bm...but then they might do it anyway and not tell u. Hmmm, tricky one, i wouldnt say im not bothered as i dont really want my OH near a naked woman but not bothered enough to say anything, its just supposed to be a bit of fun.

phew thank goodness someone else is worried about strippers! oh really really seriously isnt bothered about that but bm is determined. most people have said to me that its boys being boys but it all seems a bit sleazy to me.

not sure what we're doing yet as its ages off but a hen's vs stags paintballing game has been suggested...

30 of my H2B's friends (and him) are going away to a lodge in the highlands to do all sorts of outdoor shennanigans - (urghhh) :-)

Originally I was told (by his ushers) they were going to an Eastern European country to hit the strip clubs and get reeking... (urghhh) :-) but that's not my baby - he HATES all of that - His words to me always are "Why do that when I have you (he's expected to say that tho, then the Scotman practical / money saving side comes out)  and why would I want to go and sit in a bar, pay money to get all turned on when nothing is going to happen - it's just stupid"  :-)

Either way - my thing is this: I'm not having a hen night - I have too much to do (and my whole eye operation scare thing) has set me back 4 weeks...

My OH is going to edinburgh the weekend. 2 nights and 3 days there.

I am well aware that there will be visits to 2 strip clubs on the 2 nights and then onto clubs. I am not exactly thrilled by the idea, but I know that it isn't something the lads do all the time and it is his stag do.

Can you plan your hen do for the same time as his stag do? This is what I have done.

They go on the friday afternoon and I will be having a beautician over to pamper me a bit. Then on the saturday I am going for a spa day with the girls and then on the night out for meal and boogying! So I will b having fun myself without worrying what the lads are up to!

My OH is going to Newcastle for the weekend with 15 friends they are having a paint balling weekend and at the night go to a strip club it's all part of the package deal.

I don't mind him going I helped him plan it lol!

Mrs Tonner I don't think you have anything to worry about and as it's been said before the best man now knows your weak spot he is going to wind you up like crazy! Shrug it off hun and don't worry yourself sick!

I feel the same way about strippers, I would play him at his own game along the lines of "My girlfriends have mentioned hiring a male dancer......"

For mine am going to the Marriot for a couple of hours of pampering and in the evening have a meal. Some people (including my self) are staying over night at the hotel. My OH mentioned his best man mentioned organsing an activity weekend, I just hope it will be on the cheap as don't really want anything else been put on the credir card). Mine isn't costing much £40 to stay over night at the hotel (also includes breakfast and dinner) and £10 for a day pass for the Marriot. XOXOXOX

He's planning on going Go Karting (if he/his BM ever get it sorted!) then for a meal n out round town at night. He's going the week before the wedding n i'm going on mine the week before that. I'm going to Go Ape so wanted 2 weeks for my nails to grow back!

There's only 1, maybe 2, strip clubs in town. He might get dragged in but he has the same attitude of why get wound up when i can't do anything about it. I'd rather he didn't go into one but if I made too much of a fuss he probably would just deny if he went in anyway.

Also he went on his mate's stag do in Manchester n they went in a really *** one. They stayed there about 2 hours n he said when u've seen her strip to her undies once then everytime after that is quite boring!

dont let him see you are would up about it tho or he will do it all the more!! I have no idea what my OH will be doing for his...shis bro (best man) will be organising it so i think its going to be paint balling or clay pigeon shooting or something like that.

My OH is such a control freak he;s organised his own. him and about 12 others are going to Newquay for a lads weekend but NO STRIPPERS. He can't stand them. He always says that they are somebody's daughter and it's a horrible thought so he doesnt go near them (phew for me) plus u cannot persuade him to do anything so there's noway he'll even be dragged by in the rest. Think he's looking to go gokarting.

Mine's going to Manchester for two nights. Go up on the Friday, chill at the hotel, then dinner and drinks.

On the Saturday they're playing human table football, then dinner, strip club and nightclub.

On the Sunday they're going to watch Man U v Spurs and then home.

I'm not a big fan of strip clubs but I trust him enough to go. It's all been organised by his BM and brother so it wasn't his choice, I do have a problem with private dances though. OH knows that and the BM and brother know so I just hope they respect that. OH has been very honest with me and forwarded me the details of the weekend, even though i wasn't bothered!

I've laid down my rules. No shaving him, no losing him, no putting him on a train up to Scotland, no private dances!
