I'd reply and ask why they wanted to know.  Whatever may or may not have happened was a long time ago and why were they so keen to know?

I wouldn't divulge information unless I knew the reason why it was being asked.

Then again, ignoring is a good option.

How strange! I would ignore it too, if she persists and contacts you again then maybe send her a short, polite but firm message simply saying that you're not quite sure how you can help her and maybe she should talk to her OH about these sort of things if there is something that is bothering her.

I'd ignore it. if she's the bunny boiler type then she'll only manipulate whatever you say (however innocent) into whatever information it is she's trying to acheive by emailing you in the first place. i'd stay well out of it!

Its possible that she has tried to get information about your past relationship with NAME out of him already and he isnt giving it up..so she has sneakily come to you..dont give her what she wants.

The truth is not what she really wants to hear but also something I dont think you have to hide either so unless you want her to know it all, i'd say nothing.

Alternatively make up a hugely comic story!  We could help!

Past is past, I would prefer NOT to know who my OH has been with in past and I certainly would not ask someone if I had a suspision, id feel such a tw*t!

I would say ignore, but i'd find it hard to - id probably send back a message asking why is she asking you and not her partner?!
