who walks down the aisle first ?

I was all set for the bridesmaids to follow me but now after reading this thread..... think I am changed to 'The American Way'!!!!

I was also wondering what to do with my ring bearer (he is my nephew and will be 6 at the time) I am thinking of getting him to stand at the front with OH as he loves him to bits and has a tendancy to throw a strop if he gets asked to do anything with girls! I am thinking he could stand there until we get to the front.

What is everyone else doing with pageboys/ring bearers?

I'm having 2 flower girls and 2 page boys & I'm intending for them to walk in pairs throwing the petals. Although all but 1 of the girls is under 5.
