I think H would like to stop at just one, but I think I'd probably like to have another.  We're not rushing to decide, but if we do want to go for it I'll want to get on with it really as I'm another one who's turning 34 this year.

I can see the positive side to a small age gap, particularly in relation to getting the sleepless nights out of the way reasonably quickly.  Having said that, I can also see the benefits to a bigger age gap.

Before C was born I would have thought you were completely mad, now 15 weeks on I can totally understand!! We're not going to be trying this year but I think maybe we might in a year or so, I'd like a 2 or 2 1/2 year age gap so I guess that would mean trying this time next year! We will see how things go I think!

H def wants another as he is a only child. I'm still thinking about it, but am finding B so knackering I don't think I want a small age gap. I'd rather B was off at nursery a few mornings or whatever before having another newborn to cope with. Having said that I was 34 just before B was born, and TTC took us nearly two years...

Def want another one or two but we're not thinking of trying again until J is at least 18 months, most likely two years. I was told by a doctor to wait 2 years after my section before having another but I'll take that with a pinch of salt! In the first few weeks of having a newborn I couldn't understnad how anyone ever had more than one but now, thoughts of the next one are often on m mind! We would have to make big changes for number 2 (house, location) and there are a few things I would like to get under my belt career-wise as well first. My sister has just had her second with a 19 month age gap so i am watchng closly to see how she gets on...

Definitely mad!Wink  But then I have no plans for number three, I am officially done.  Oh and as for planning  the age gap...I took 7 months of the JK method to conceive T and with L, i got pregnant the first month, and we only DTD once that whole month!  So I have a much smaller age gap than planned.

    Hi Kelfi!

sounds like things are going well for you!  I don't think you are mad at all, because thats what we did Laugh  There is a 21 month gap between my boys and to be honest it has been great.  R who is now 25 months is great, he has shown no jealousy and kisses and cuddles S.  It has been great, but far from easy.  2 are hard, but totally worth it.  If you have a small age gap like mine I would def recommend getting a sling I use a MobyD, I use mine when getting babies in and out of the car.  It means I have 2 hands to deal with R.

I had an emergency section first time, and then after a lot of umming and ahhhing an elective section.  The elective was soooo much easier to get over and the whole experience was really positive.

nice to 'see' so many of the 3rd tri people Hug have missed you guys

    Morning ladies,

Baby CC is only 17 weeks old and we have been thinking about no 2 since he was about 8 weeks old. I had a section so know its best I wait a while but I am 35 this year and it took us 4 years to get a BFP so am keen to get going iyswim?

Not sure when we'll really start trying..maybe the summer? Baby CC will be 8/9 months old then.... I dont know .......

Glad that I am not completely mad then.

Chuckie Egg, that is really reassuring to hear.

I think that it was Katy that mentioned nursery, L is starting when he is 8 months, so I would just keep him in it I reckon.

Thats if it happens ok for me, all hypothetical at the moment.

    xx

We definitely want another baby. We had thought about a 3 year age gap - G would get free nursery time for upto 15 hours then which would give me time with baby number 2.

Crikey no way. 2 is enough (hubby would leave me).

I was hoping it was more an "are you starting weaning yet" post.

I posted the other day about being broody again, and A is only 19 weeks. i would actually like another, but the post said that we're not in a position financially to have another. If finances change, then you'll see me on the TTC board this time next year...ish...

I do already have another, and the gap between them is 2 years, 5 days. i think thats a great age gap! i am 35 this year though, so if i want another, I suppose it ought to be sooner, than later x

This isn't flying, its falling - with style

No , no more for me.

I've a 9 year gap between mine and would have had the gap smaller if i thought we would have two ( always planned on only one).
