morning ladies, sorry no time for personals

I'm sitting at day obs unit waiting to get checked after my stint in hospital. Fingers crossed bp is ok. They said they would check blood flow in cord too cos of reduced fluid levels from last wk, so everything crossed all is ok!

Hannah - sounds like nice things to look forward too.  Hope you're OK after your fall and that your knee heals quickly.

Sparkling - Enjoy another day to yourself and hope you do get to meet your friend :)

Claire - can't help with a pee although they only need to have a small amoutn for the sample just to dip the stick in.  Give the MW a call just to check it out.

Pip - yay to a lovely weekend with your H.  Hopefully with the date switcharoo you can have some time in peace together and then H will have to be good at sorting the visitors out.  Our midwife has also told us that if you tell them who you want and how many and for how long they will look after us and kick everyone out so have a word with the hospital.  I am somewhat jealous of your ice craving haha

aims - Sounds like a lovely day planned, save for the telling off!  Enjoy :)  Hope that the contractions and niggles come to something for you.

PP - Welcome to the third trimester :)  I hope that the pain in the back and your SPD eases.  As for the nursery/work on the house don't stress, H and I are still sorting things out and were painting at the weekend.  As long as you have somewhere in your room to put a moses basket / crib you will be fine :)

AD - try and let the bath pass you by, it is done now and although it is annoying save your energy for something else.  If the person on freecycle picks it up hopefully they will check it out properly.  As for yesterday you did have a very productive day!

Lea - hope you're OK after your fall xx  Good luck with baby out from tomorrow.

As for me I am having a lazy morning and I have errands to run after lunch.  Some friends are coming over for a visit tonight and then I think I may start to be fed up of being pregnant and may get a move on with trying to get the baby out.

pebbles, GF, and CD - I told you that I would be getting my sleep last night :) 11 pm to 9 am with no loo breaks hehe.  Clearly this child is taking after me and being comfortable is more important than getting on with things :)

    Have a grand day all.

    Hello All,

Hannah:- Have fun at crufts! Ive always wanted to go though im feeling very broody/maternal at the mo so would probably try to steal lots of little dogs! Falling over is very scary-glad your okay though and that the baby is being a little wiggler.

Sparkling:- Enjoy your day! Hope that you get some time with your friend.

CW:- Like others say it may well be an infection but Ive been suffering with similar lately had tests etc...and no infection. Just put down to position of the baby like Pip said I feel like Im bursting go for a wee and a pathetic dribble! Hope your feeling better soon.

PIP:- Bless your lovely H, glad you got some spoiling. Im sooo with you on the Ice thing! I nearly punched H last night when he took my "finished" drink to the kitchen last night..."ummm there are FOUR ice cubes in there!! not finished my friend!" lol...Im been eating rocket lollies, iced water, frozen fruit and I would sell my nan for a slush puppy! Laugh..I dont blame you on the visiting thing, youve got to do whats best for your litte family :-)

Aims:- I hope that this is the start of something for you...exciting!

PP:- good to see you over here :-) Sorry to hear about your SPD.

AngelDust:- Missed your post yesterday about the inlaws but I can empathise with how hard it is to let comments wash over. Its a struggle to the high ground some times hey! On the plus side sounds like you had a v. productive weekend!

Lea:- I hope your OKay after your fall...horrid horrid things. Glad that your little man is on the move though. I bet you cant wait until your mum gets back.

AFM:- Ive been a bit MIA as have been feeling quite rundown, jut getting over a crappy cold and then had tummy aches/suspected water infection blah blah blah. Feeling a bit better now though. Baby wise all well she is moving alot last night H rested his head on side of my bump and she booted him really hard in the ear, lol. He jumped up I think it freaked him out a bit. Nursery furniture is put up now, drawers and cot- I made the cot up too even though she wont be going in it for about 7 months, lol but I wanted it to look all pretty which it does. Just need to add finishing touches now. Maternity leave starts next Friday and I cant wait work have been so crap! Ive got my final scan tomorrow too to check her position and growth-hopefully shes locked and loaded and a good size..fingers crossed.

Oh yeah, does anyone know if its okay to take raspberry leaf tea yet? Im just over 34 weeks?

Lea - morning Wave  I'm getting so excited for you, it's coming around so quickly!  Are you all ready?  Sorry to hear about your little trip, it sounds like baby's ok though if there's lots of wriggling going on.

Pip - the 23rd?  But that's only 15 days away!  You can't possibly be that far on - it seems only yesterday that I read your BFP announcement! Laugh  Do you know what time you've got to go in?  Hopefully it'll be past your nan's bedtime Laugh  Seriously though, that is very rude and unfair of her.  Could you get your mum to have a word with her?

lishdesigns - hope everything is ok today x

Digitalskittles - sending you some big baby out vibes!

DS:- Good news on your sleep, if youd like me to send you my link to how to get a baby out 101 let me know...I think you would have to be desperate to try some lol. Have fun with your friends tonight.

kitty - Glad you're feeling a bit better, fingers crossed you're 100% soon.  As for mat leave the time will fly by and you'll be able to relax for a bit :).

I saw the link last time you posted it.  At the same time my H's best mate posted a message on his facebook wall about how apparently prostaglandins are absorbed more efficiently through the gut  so an alternative to sex heh

Lea8 - there must be something in the water with everyone falling over.  I hope you're OK amd not too bruiised.

Purple pixie - I'm 29+4 and due on 20th May.  I find my support belt helps if I have the odd day of it getting bad.  Before I saw the physio I was crying with the pain in my back but it sounds like you have it a whole lot worse with crukbling verterbrae.

My sister G is a teacher and she ended up on crutches and signed off work from about 32 or 34 weeks.  There was no way she could do her job with 5 year olds on crutches.  She found the only thing that helped was rest.  I don't mean to worry you in anyway and you have no doubt already had this conversation with your mw but her mw was very straight with her towards the end and said the SPD was going to make things more difficult and painful and that she should consider an epidural from quiet early on.  As it happened they were very busy on the day and she got to 7cms before they were able to administer one but she was very thankful that she had asked early in her labour for one.  The mw's comments made her feel more positive in asking for an epidural and not feeling like she couldn't cope (not that having an epidural means that anyway).

Angeldust - I alternate between crying, getting angry/frustrated and laughing like I'm insane Laugh  I've not had any conversation with my mw yet because I've not seen her since I was 16 weeks!  Thankfully I've got a wonderful physio.  Actually, she suggested crutches at my last appointment but I said no because I wanted to see how the belt helped but I think I'll get them now.  I am worried about work - the work itself isn't an actual problem (I work in a college) and I've got a fab assistant/friend who is mothering me but little things like the toilets being upstairs is starting to make life very difficult.  I've got 8 weeks left but only 24 more working days after today (I've purposely used my leave to break it up a bit) so I'm hoping to persevere but we'll see.  As for the epidural, I've got an appointment with the anaesthetic consultant at 35 weeks to see whether they'll let me have one because of my spine.  I had one when I had M but it had to be re-sited 3 times and they only got it to work properly just before I went for my section.

digi - have some baby out vibes for you! Great that you had such a lovely sleep - maybe you need it sooner than you think!

kittyboo- oh what I would give for a slush puppy!!!! I'm sure that is actually what I'm craving but nowhere seems to sell them anymore. That's so funny about your H getting kicked, I remember T kicking the dog once and him looking all shocked Laugh. I replied on your thread about RLT.

PP yep not long to go!!! I'm priority that morning so think I go in just before 8am, got to go a few days before for bloods and get my tablets etc.

pip sounds like we're going to have similar sections - i've got to be there at 7.30 as i'm a priority i have to go 5 days before for bloods and the day before to make sure all is well and do the consent etc and get my ranitidine.  I'm switching between excited and terrified at the moment as whilst it's 2 months away it's not really that far away at the same time.
