Inspire me... bridesmaids presents...

What are you getting your BMs (besides dress, shoes, hair, etc you may be paying for?)

Looking for inspiration.  I've stalled at a necklace and now that's all I can think of...

I gave mine a necklace, beautifully made by Purrfect Gems, a pair of pearl earrings, a handkerchief, her handbag, and a book; the female version of 'The Dangerous Book for Boys' as it kinda went with the theme of it all....

For my younger ones I got them a silver trinket box which was engraved and a 'Special BM' photoframe. My MOH got a necklace and earrings set.

But.... (I Forgot to say this in my report) I forgot the presents on the day! So I've been delivering them over the weekend

How about a necklace or bracelet or silver engraved compact?

I have got them a personalised bag from Vistaprint each, into which I am putting a handbag, necklace, possibly some chocs from Hotel Chocolat and perfume from Gwen Stefani's Harajuku Lovers - They have 5 different kinds so they all have different ones and Ive got the other for me :-)  I love the bottles.

i got mine necklace and earrings to wear on the day

and my fgs have a bear from bear factory.....dressed as a fg and i have a message in the paw :) sounds awful but will be nice in years to come!

Day out treat - spa day, girly lunch etc

Clothes vouchers

Something personal - photo frame with them in or them + their partner, silk heart personalised with message

What do they like? Chocolate? How about a chocolate hamper from Hotel Chocolat? Drinker? Minatures set or hipflash.

John Lewis also do amazing funky painted martini glasses - you could also personalise / decorate them yourself with gems etc

I ended up getting them a necklace.  Have flashed in another post 

You are sorted now anyway but I made jewellery for my bm and got her a bag to match her dress. She wasn't expecting either so it was nice the night before to give her something. The bag probably won't go with anything else but the jewellery can be worn with anything.

My worry was that neither are massively girlie girlie and I worried about a necklace not being worn again.  But D said as long as they're happy on the day and it looks nice he didn't care that they may not wear them again! 

They're so hard to buy for!  Plus it's one of them's 30th next Monday and I need to get something for that!
