When should I see a doctor/midwife?

Hi all,

I'm 21 weeks now, had my scan last week but have only ever seen my midwife twice (once booking in and once for bloods). Should I be seeing her again soon do you think? I've tried calling her but no response! Permission to

I think with my first pg it was every 4 weeks, but it can vary county to county. i would call your MW again x

My midwife apps are as follows:

• Booking in
• 16 weeks
• 24/25 weeks
• 30 weeks and then a few more after that

I'm actually seeing her again at 20 weeks as well just to get my BP checked.

The back of my Maternity notes show when I should be seeing her, has she ticked these boxes on your form?

I'm 'fairly' sure that my notes say that for a first pg you should see your mw at 8, 16, 25, 28, 31, 34, 37, 39, 40 and (maybe) 41 weeks.

I'm actually feeling rather lost this time with seeing her so little.  Surely just because it's my 2nd doesn't mean that something can't go wrong!  I've already had more problems with this one than I did with Matt.

I saw the modwife at my GP at 8 weeks ish. My scan was at 13+6, then my booking in at 16 ish weeks which meant I didn't need to have the 16 week appt I would have had. Then my scan at 22 weeks, midwife at 24 weeks and I have to go abck at 27 weeks and then to the hospital at 28 weeks for my GTT, and a growth scan at 30weeks. I don't know any further than that though!

I saw onw at about 8/9 weeks for booking in, after each of my scans and at 16 weeks. I'm next seeing her when I'll be 26 weeks but it should be 25 only it's good friday and they've got the day off!

With J, I think I had booking in, then saw her at 16, 24, 28, 32, 36 and then fortnightly. This time, I saw her at 16 weeks and see her again at 28 - so a long wait!
