Hi! I'm a May bride but wanted to say we're going for something similar with the neutral colours! I love the BM dresses too and the groom's suit looks similar to what OH is getting! Good taste! :)

Cake will be very similar to this but 3 tier with fushia ribbon.  We are having chocolate sponge on the larger tiers and then victoria sponge on the top tier.

October is the new August! Lovely pics girls - really like the neutral & mono colour schemes! Here are a couple of my mood boards that I have been using to keep me sane & on track! 

This is our venue & the rest are just ideas apart from the lanterns on the bottom right which I've now bought for centre pieces (just the bigger ones). I am going to try to source / make a tree like cake stand like in the pic as think it suits our venue. We will have chair covers in the venue as even though I'm not a fan of them they beat the chairs! With just ivory ties though to blend in. 

 This one has my dress, loose pearls I've bought to make some bracelets with (idea from www.rockmywedding.com!), the website version of the invites we have chosen from Printable Press (middle left), our bridesmaid dresses, my ER and the rest are ideas. The Paris / Pisa photos are for the 'cities we have been to' theme for table names. Ideas is to put a photo of each on the table. The shoes are the ones I want from Bespoke Big Day but I'd like them in bronze metallic leather. The bottom left photo is how I'd like our 'Order of the Day' stationery. I bought the dress in Monsoon ages ago but I also want to go proper dress shopping but I am too scared (I know I am running out of time!)!

You will probably see from this we don't have much of an overall theme I guess rustic vintage would cover it though! 

Its not our fault we are sooo far ahead in setting new trends, you wait til next year, there will be a premium to get married in October!

Oooh Charlied - we have put the same cake stand pic up! Are you going to try to make one (think the tutorial was up on the blog where the pic came from) or buy one? I think I might have a go at making one but I need to find quite a big base!

Well so far i have

Church and ministers booked

booked the reception,

Got my dress (which I'm afraid i aint gonna flash cos i aint got a pic of, and even if i had my H2B is on here way to much so dont want him 2 c it!)

Bridesmaids dresses ordered, (again no flashin cos same as above!)

Men's kilts ordered 

Photographer booked,

Videographer booked,

Invitations started, outside carda almost finished, started on the inside calligraphy (with the help of my teacher @ college!)

Organist booked (OH's Cousin),

Cake baking sorted and tin's borrowed. (Both our mums baking, with a cousin's tins!)

Cake decor decided...need 2 speak 2 my friends granny whos gona do the icing! I am gona put it on a swan tho!!!

Flowers looked at and I think bouquet decided on...just need to go in and order it now with florist. Id like something like this i think but a wee bit longer bouquet for mine.

OH has already made centrepieces (he loves his wood) He had to hunt round the woods for chopped trees big enough, then you need a chain saw, then you need a plainer to sand it all down. All I do is stand and watch, but in all fairness its the ONLY job he has got!

Wow that is awesome! I am going to have a go at making the one in the photo at some point - I'll let you know how I get on!
