We're currently having a battle with getting Tom (9 1/2 wks) to take a bottle of expressed milk, lots of tears from me and him last night.

H is trying again and have just been called downstairs, Tom is taking a bottle but in a rugby ball hold, tucked under h's armpit! Won't have it sitting up! He looks so cute and i'm so pleased he's decided a bottle isn't the devils work!

A random colleague (who I don't actually have anything to do with most of the time but we stop for the odd chat) telling me that I'm not to just sneak off on maternity leave because 'some of us might want to buy baby things or something' [:I]

My daughter (3) telling me that "You can't tell me off mummy cos I am beautiful" when I tried to stop her from doing something.

Also shouting "Mummy I love you" up to the bedroom window from the road when ny H was taking her nursery this morning.

    Just remembered another one...

I was having a bad morning (most are nowadays with pain and lack of sleep) and my grumpiness must have been apparent as I was desperately trying to srape back my hair.  Matt came up to me, put his arms round me and said 'you look beautiful mummy'.  I could have cried.

Seeing my two boys snuggled up asleep together (in my bed) thismorning, O had a big brotherly arm around F and everyfink Love

I had a mind once, now I have small children.
