(In a jokey way)

I went into a bridal shop at Lakeside yesterday with my Mum to look for flower girls shoes and the greeting I got?

"Are you looking for a prom dress?!"

Prom?? PROM?? You're about 10 years too late for that! I'm 25 and now thinking I look like a child bride...

That shop is not exactly well known for its tact and diplomacy. 

I would not be too concerned, maybe it was just the weekend staff who forgot to engage brain to mouth. 

If it helps, when I met you I thought you were in your early twenties. 

Take it from me RaeF, when you are 35 you will be LOVIN that!!!!!

I second what GEMINBEBE said, lol. I was like that when I was your age, I was involved in theatre, and would be so annoyed to get cast as 15 year olds when I was 23 and an old married, lol.  But enjoy looking much younger than your years, it's nothing to be enraged about. It's a good thing, trust me.

Oh, I do know it's a good thing in a way but I hate it still!

My sister went in to M&S last summer with her two children, who were 6 and 4 at the time to buy some food and one of those little bottles of wine to give to her daughters teacher and she was ID'd then! What underage teenager goes to M&S with two children to buy a small bottle of wine with £50 worth of food if they're trying their luck?! BTW, she was 35 at the time...

So it must run in the family!

I remember how much I hated looking so young, lol. Both of my daughters have to deal with that now too. My older one is 23, but looks about 16, my younger daughter is 19, and looks 12. I think it's hysterical, lol.

RaeF, I know just how you feel - When I went to try on wedding dress in a coupled of shops the ladies  would ask how old I was & when I told them I 25 they would look at me and say "oh gosh I thouht you where about 17!!" Well thanks for that love hahahaha I do have a baby face and get asked for ID ALL the time - Im use to it but it is so embarrassing when I forget to bring my id to buy Wine/beer at the supermarket and they wont let me buy it if I don't have it!!!

I should be so lucky lol
