    Morning everyone.

I've been a bit lax since finishing for maternity. sorry guys.

I'm feeling good at the moment. Having a few niggles now i can tell he's moving down. Had some pains though last night but they didn;t last long. Just practicing. Watched a bit of one born every minute last night. Maybe i shouldn't have! got a bit emotional. I wrote my birth plan last night and bags are almost packed (after a lecture from my H saying he can tell the baby has dropped! Think he might be getting giddy too soon.) so we'll be ready to go when the time comes.

Hello to everyone and bay out vibes to anyone that needs them.

Lea 36+5 (i'm creeping up that list!)

    Morning Lea,

Glad that your feeling good at the moment and signs that he is moving down sound promising! Well done on bag packing! Bless your H mine is already on at me to do my bag! I think its due to the fact that recently 3 of our friends have had their 1st babies early! I hope you are enjoying your ML! 36+5...nearly at that finish line!

Me:- Okay, feeling a bit better today still knackered but have decided to be a bit more proactive in making life easier for myself at work and reducing my work load seeing as no one else is going to help me! Our cot and mattress arrived yesterday our lovely neighbours took it in for us- I cant wait to put it up but cant until the carpet is fitted...lets hope its soon. I have whale club this afternoon (aquanatal) and so am finishing work at one :-) then have a driving lesson which after swimming always knackers me out but its gotta be done. Had a crazy dream last night that Susan Sarandon was my driving instructor and she was really ripping me off charging me £50 for an hour and fifteen mins but i was too scared of her to say, lol...weird!

Baby eviction notices to all who require them- hope everyone is well today.

lea - glad you're well, sounds like you're getting sorted, might not be long to go now!

kittyboo - glad you're getting your workload sorted, i have done a separate post about my work issues - it's so frustrating isn't it?! Your dream sounds funny, take it easy!

AFM - Baby's fine kicking away and all is good apart from the stress at work. I had a baby realted dream last night. I dreamt that I gave birth this week when H was at work and when he came home, presented him with his baby son 'Anthony' (not the name we've chosen if it's a boy!). And because I wasn't meant to have started maternity leave yet, I was bringing the baby into work with me until they said I could finally take time off - I think that might be the work anxiousness showing through, lol!
Have a great day everyone x

    Hi

Lea: Glad your bags are packed and you have done birth plan, I need to get mine done soon. I got emotional too on that program last night and also watching Eastenders ....

Kittiboo: Good on you to take it easy at work, hope you enjoy your afternoon, we do have funny dreams dont we in pregnancy !!! Great about the furniture, lets hope you have your carpet fitted soon

AFM: For those who didnt see yesterday I had my scan and baby has moved to the right position ( it was oblique before) and also not as big as the MW said, I am so relieved !!! I was so stressed about it and hardly slept !! I caught up though yesterday afternoon with a big nap with William. Getting ready too, bags are more or less ready, need to writte birth plan and at the weekend we should take crib, car seat down from loft and whash what needs washing etc, it is all getting into place now

    Hi all!
Lea- well done for getting all organised with the bag etc... that will make it more real now I'm sure Smile

Kittyboo - enjoy the aqua class! I'm sure the driving lesson will be ok. I think it's normal to have vivid dreams during pregnancy.

Moz - I'm glad baby has turned in the right direction and you can relax now and enjoy the rest of the pregnancy!

AFM - SPD has reared it's ugly head this week :( I'm feeling a little down as I thought it would hold off better this time.... I'm finding it difficult to walk and am in alot of pain doing just normal things. I've called work and said I won't be in tomorrow so maybe a day or so rest will help rather than being on my feet. Baby seems ok, has grown over the weekend so maybe the extra pressure has affected the SPD?

    Have a nice day everyone.

    Daydreamer

Sorry I missed you somehow! Try not to stress about work... easier said than done I know. Hope you sleep better tonight x

Lea8 - pleased that you are feeling good at the moment and well done on getting organised

kittyboo - good for you on being proactive and making work easier on yourself.  I think I will have to do the same at my work as they certainly won't do it for me!

daydreamer - I'm sorry to hear you have work stress, not what you want right now.

mozarella - its grear news that the baby has moved to the right position and that you're not as big as the mw said.  You sound very organised as well.

AFM - I've been asked to switch my days off this week so I will now be working tomorrow and having friday off.  Onthe plus side I get a long weekend, which is nice as we are off to the BIL's on the down side I was really looking forward to having a chilled day with Isobel tomorrow and on Friday she is in preschool in the morning so I won't get much time with her but then I will get a few hours to put my feet up!

    Afternoon ladies!

Lea8 - nice to have started mat leave - I can't wait! OBEM made me cry too - ooops!

Kittyboo 0- sounds like a busy day - don't do too much! Enjoy your aquanatal and driving lesson.

Daydreamer - I'm having the mad dreams too - keeps like interesting! Hope work stress dies down x

Moz - Hurrah for scan news, and yey for a big nap. Hope you can relax a bit more now.

Me, well, Wednesdays are my day with E so having lots of fun. She's off for a nap in a min and I have some school work to get done so no chance of a nap myself. 2 weeks left at work after this week, and I can't wait. Should think about packing my bags- esp as I am going away this weekend. Not too far, but far enough. I should look where nearest hospital is and must take my notes! Feeling pretty well tho SPD(?) still stopping me sleeping well. Physio yesterday was no help, so I'll just keep going.

    Take care all xx

Angeldust - Make the most of the time to yourself, it is nice to be with them but I do find 'me' time important!! BTW... I think we are due date twins Smile

incognito - I never found the physio exercises much help either. 2nd time I did my pelvic floor exercises more which seemed to help somewhat with recovery and less SPD pain after the birth so remember to do yours!

  • Re: *** Wed 3rd Tri ***

Buboo: My spd was better until the baby moved into the right position abd now it is really painfull in the pelvis area so I do think yes it can affect it ! hope you will manage ok though

Dayadreamer: what a dream !!! when are you finishing work, this is obvisouly a worry to you ...

angeldust: make the most of your free time, nice to have a long weekend ahead

incognito: hope the next two weeks gofast for you so then you can enjoy ML ! Sorry to hear physio is not helping your spd
