  • One and onlies - when/how did you know?

We are almost 100% sure that Gabrielle is going to be a one and only, for so many reasons - H doesn't want to be having another child in his 40s, our next priority has to be to buy a house, plus we can give her all the things we want to if she is an only one. This is a decision we've come to after she was born, but I'm fairly certain it's the right one for us.

So why is it that when H is talking about giving away all the things that she's outgrown that I'm thinking "but what if....?" I can't bear to think of just getting rid of it all. When did you know you were only going to have one? Did anyone think they wanted just one, then change their minds?

We always said we would only have one and meant it.

It didn't bother me getting rid of all kians baby stuff and fincially it was right to have one , then along came Riley , 9 years later , he wasn't a planned baby , i feel so guilty when i say that and now i know i won't have anymore.

I always said , we're  only having one but there was always a nagging doubt , when K reached 7ish , i put a fullstop to it and it was final. So yes i did only want one but i'm glad i've had another.
