Jack was fine in his - for the first 5 minutes!  The he was like this little escapist who thought it was a funny game when he threw himself out of it.  Although it was funny it was kind of scary that this litlle one was a able to be free so soon!!

Ours was passed on from a friend, and is now accomodating another baby, so it's had 7 babies so far! I bought the tray to go with it, which sort of stiffens the suspension, and means they're less likely to be able to flip out. T loved his, and it was so handy to be able to stash him in it for short periods and know he was safe. There's nothing to break or go wrong with them so they're a very good second-hand buy.

E liked his, he would sit in it for short periods while I got on with things, this is him helping me sort post-holiday washing!

My friend used to take her bumbo everywhere with her and use it in restaurants etc which is a good idea as often the restaurant highchairs are too big or unsuitable for a younger baby.

J loved hers & I thought it was a godsend. She would sit in it on either the kitchen table or the worktop & watch me.

I lent it to my sil & she/her son hated it, so I would def advise you try before you buy if you can!

Just had to post to say please don't use them on worktops etc.  An NCT friend was looking after her nephew and he fell from the worktop out of one, luckily he was fine (although still has a bump several weeks later) but she's still very upset by it.  Really not worth the risk

Dinx - whereabouts are you - I have a spare if you want to try and then buy it off me if you like it!  Save me sticking it on ebay.  I'm in Hertford, but going to Bath next week, and West Yorks in 3 weeks if you can wait that long
