*** Wednesday 1st Tri ***

Hello Ladies!

I couldn't see another 1st tri trail so I thought I'd open one to say hello. I am 13 weeks today so FF is telling me I'm starting my 2nd trimester This is therefore my last post on the 1st tri trail.

We had the first scan yesterday morning and little one is moving nicely. He (we're convinced it's a boy even though the lady didn't want to tell us anything until the 20-wk scan) wasn't very cooperative and the sonographer had to poke him/me quite a lot to get the measurements, etc.. but it gave us plenty of time to look at him wriggling in there. We clearly saw his spine, even his ribs! His lovely little fingers and toes. I was so nervous before I got in, and oh so relieved and pleased when I saw him on the screen. The nuchal measurement seems to be average and they took a blood sample too. Just need to wait for the results now.
