I have just done something really stupid.....

Counted out on the calendar how many days till we get married and its only 44!!! SH*T. I knew it was 6 weeks on Thursday but now i have counted i am freaking out!!

Wow 44 days! Hate to say it but that will fly by.

Have you got much left to do or is it all sorted now?

Exciting (and scary!) stuff! As of midday you're half of what we've got to go....88 days and counting!

I am lucky we are getting married abroad so pretty organised. Then reception when when we get back. Its more i keep having nightmares that i forget to go and pick up my ring as the shop are holding it for me or i get to the dress shop but its closed!!!

I have posted it notes all over my desk at work with things i need to remember!!

Novice bride 88 days is nothing. I remember coming on here and being like woohoo its a year today and that only feels like last week!

Where about's abroad are you getting married? I am here on Hitched because I am helping plan a wedding abroad for my brother and his girlfriend as she has no internet and is struggling keeping up with the suppliers etc.

The nightmares are normal I remember before I got married they were terrible.

We are getting married in Mexico. Have a planner in the hotel who sorts eveything out for us. There is only 12 of us which i am happy about then a reception for 180 when we get back. Where is brother looking to get married. We chose Mexico as we were there for a holiday in 2008 and just loved it.

I have been having the crazest wedding and non wedding related dreams off late but i am just putting it down to my mind being on overdrive!

Mexico how lovely.

My brother is getting married in Cyprus in August. They have a planner but she is not that good to be honest. There are going to be 50 of us out there with them then a reception for everyone else when we get back. They have a large family (she is one of 8 and my brother is one of 4) hence the numbers but these are close family only.

My craziest dream was that my dress never arrived so I wore a bin bag - my bridesmaids looked lovely in their dresses though , then the church was busy so we had to wait, we then had a joint wedding with other couples.

I know someone getting Married in Cyprus this year and it looks lovely. I am sure it will all work out in the end. I have to say our planner hasnt been the best either. We have had to do all the contacting she never bothers to contact us. She got a really shirty email off me a few weeks back as we are 6 weeks away and i havent seen any legal documentation that we need to complete. She got it to me quick smart after that.

I had a dream of getting married in a bin bag too. You have help reassure me that i am not going mad!!!

I thought I was bad for having under 200 days to go...reading you post just made my heart sink with nerves!!!!!....so exciting at the same time though...you will soon see all your planning come together
