    Morning all,

Hope everyone is ok and has a nice relaxing weekend planned.

I have a few work things to do (nothing too strenuous) and other than that don't intend to do anything much today. H is on nights so is fast asleep in lounge which means I can't do any housework as I wouldn't want to wake him Laugh

Tomorrow I want to get my hospital bag sorted so just need to buy a few last things (and a bag or two!)

    Happy due date to Tabs

Baby out vibes to wodger_woo, Starstruck and Tabs

hugs to Mrs SA who seems to be having a rough time of it hope you manage to get out of hospital and Pebbles did you go to work yesterday - was it any better

Hi CD, have a nice relaxing day today. Afm- not sure if you saw my 'tell me I'm mad' post last night, but we took t swimming, which started crampy feelings all afternoon and evening. I had a shower/bath/lay down/ate dinner/sat on sofa and was still feeling crampy, which were coming and going in intensity. I went to bed about 10ish, and managed to sleep ok, still crampy feelings this morning, but not really sure if it is anything or not. So just getting on with things. H has gone to work and I have a friend round later for a play date with t, which will be nice. Ill update later if anything changes. Baby out vibes to all that need them, and hi to everyone else on later. MrsHWL (36+5)

Morning all - so sorry I've not posted for ages.

CD - hope you have a nice relaxing day....enjoy not being able to do housework!!!

I'm getting bigger and more tired now, and also getting lots of hip and pelvic pain, especially if I';m standing up for any length of time, or at the end of the day. Night time is the worst, and It's agony turning over - keep waking H with my squeaks!!  Apart from that i'm well, and just debating birth!

I had an emergnecy CS last time, and didn't think I could have a water birth this time, but talking to a MW (not mine) the other day, she said they now have underwater monitoring at my hospital so they should let me, and she asked if I had considered homebirth.  It wasn't something I was thinking of, but now Im debtaing it. A lovely freind has offered me her birthing pool if i was to go for it, but I can't decide what would be best!  Got meeting with my consultant on Thursday so I'll discuss it with her I think, but I'd almost like to get my head around it all first....but i struggle with simple decisions at the best of times!!!

Ah well, hope you're all feeling well, and are going to manage to relax this weekend,
    Incog x

mrshwl - I saw your post last night when I was lurking but was too tired to post!! Sorry (or not depending on what you want) that the cramps have died down. Hope they either come back properly which leads to a baby or you manage to have a nice day with your friend

icognito - sorry to hear you are in a lot of pain - have you seen anyone about it? Aims on here has recently changed to a homebirth at 30 plus weeks so may be worth putting a post out for her as she did a lot of research on it.

  • Re: ***Saturday 3rd Trimesters***

Wave everyone, well still in hospital and looks like i am staying. Waters started leaking this morning and as i am 2cm dilated they will see how i progress. Cant believe its all happening after what i thought was afalse start!

  • Re: ***Saturday 3rd Trimesters***

    Hi everyone,

I've not been on for ages (or ever on the 3rd tri thread? I'm not sure). We've had a bit of a mad few weeks but things have settled down now and we're starting to think about what we need for the baby. I also need to talk to my mw about homebirth or not homebirth, but she's not been at my last two appts so I thought I'd wait.

My spd is lifting a bit (or I'm getting the hang of not walking *anywhere*), yey. ETA that it seemed to get instantly better when I started sleeping on a double duvet folded in half. Nice tip from my group physio session.

    Good luck Mrs SA!

Just a quickie from me as I have lots to do while A is at Homebase with A! I hope to be on here a bit more often again though.

    Morning all Wave

CharlieDaisy - have a nice, relaxing day!  Definitely no housework Wink

Mrshwl - are you going to call your MW?  Might be worth getting checked out.  Hope everything OK.

Incognito - I (no pun intended) feel your pain r.e. turning over in bed ... ouch Sad  Good news about water birth and/or home birth, I really hope you manage to have whichever you feel best for you.

Mrs Sweetapple - oh wow, really hope everything goes well for you!  I will keep an eye out for news Smile

Twiglet girl - Wave glad to hear the spd is lifting.  Hope you manage to get everything you need for the baby ... maybe online shopping is the best for you?

AFM - happy due date to meeeee Big Smile  I really can't believe I am here.  The last few weeks have flown by.  There are no signs of anything happening though.  Think I might switch my mobile off for the next week or so to avoid the texts Laugh  Got one this morning.  It is nice that people are thinking about me/us, but it feels like added pressure and makes me feel like it's my fault that baby hasn't arrived yet.

Have a nice day everyone.   Baby out vibes to SS and WW, and anyone else who wants/needs them.

    Hello all Wave

Charliedaisy - Oh dear what a shame he has fallen asleep on the sofa and you can't do any housework Wink Well done on getting your hospital bag organised.

Mrshwl - I think it might be worth a call to your midwife just to make sure everything is ok. I hope you are alright.

Incognito - I hope your meeting goes well and you get the birth you want.

Mrs Sweetapple - eeek how exciting, looking out for your BA

Twiglet Girl - I'm glad you are starting to feel a little more comfortable

Tabs - HAPPY DUE DATE!! Good idea about turning off the mobile, it will only get worse Laugh Lots of baby out vibes to you!

ME - well Mr Woo was late back last night so the 'get baby out' curry we had planned didn't happen because I had stuffed myself full of Pringles Laugh  I kept dreaming last night that my waters had broken, I would wake up and jump out of bed to check.....I was driving Mr Woo absolutely mad ROTFL

This morning Mr Woo has taken Isaac to his party so I'm home alone to do what I want. I suspect it will be cleaning [sigh] after a few normal days it appears my nesting has come back Weep I've just phoned and booked myself some acupuncture which will hopefully start labour.....Knowing my luck though it won't work and I'm going to be sat here for days and days and days Weep

Finally got everything I think I need now for the baby apart from a breast pump but there's no rush for that so I'll just pick one up as and when. I even got myself a sling yesterday, its one of these http://www.jellybeangroup.co.uk/display_product3.php/Baby-Carriers-&-Baby-Slings/main/1/Baby-Slings-/category/3/Black-Cotton-Sling-/product/9 but in the microfleece fabric. It only cost me £16 from TKMaxx.....most bargainous. I thought it would be handy because it means in the mornings when I have to take Isaac to school I won't have to faff getting the buggy out and it will leave my hands free. It also means that when I'm dealing with the horses my hands will be free to push wheelbarrows etc. I'm sure that with a bit of practise I'll soon get the hang of breastfeeding in it too.

Well not much has changed here so thought I would pop on while T is napping for some personals.

I did speak to the hospital, but they just said that unless they are regular pains or get worse, or the baby stops moving then dont worry and it could be nothing, or it could be it, so just wait and see what happens.

I really dont know what to think, when I had T I had no pains, cramps, BH or anything before my labour started and the crampy period pains were regular as clockwork from the very start. This time the cramps are intermittant (sp) and some times there is a ache there for 10/15 minutes with intenser pains in the middle and then some times nothing. The baby is moving loads and I keep getting the really painful shooting pains in my upper legs and groins as it is pushing down, which is really painful. So for now I am still just getting on with everything I would be anyway, but thank you for all of your replies.

Incog - So sorry you are getting lots of pain sleeping, and really hope you manage to come to a decision on the birth.

MrsSweetapple - really hope things start to progress for you soon, so sending lots of baby out vibes to you.

TG - glad your SPD seems better, and hope you get to see your midwife soon to have a chat about homebirth vs not. Also hope you got all your jobs done!

Tabs - happy due date! Lots of baby out vibes for you. and i hope you dont get too many text/calls.

WW - that is a bargin on the sling. Hope you enjoy your day, dont overdo it with the cleaning!

Hi to anyone else on later, Ill try and get back on this evening.

just a quick update; seen the doc who says if i dont progress naturally by tomorrow morning they will start me on a drip. Waters are slowly leaking which feels odd. m startting to get crampy type pains but not strong, and erratic. Fingers crosse I can get things moving on my own. Am manically bouncing on a ball as i type!!

    Afternoon all

Apologies I have been a slack poster but have been working since Monday on a variety of shifts!

Anyhow BABY OUT vibes to all those that would like some

CD - Hope you have a restful day and good on your H for falling alseep in the lounge!

Mrs HWL  - Oh good luck, hopefully all these cramps will turn into something for you

Icognito - Nice to see you, good luck on making your decision, I too would love a water birth but will have to wait and see.

Mrs SA - Sorry to hear your in hospital but what fab news that you should have a babe in your arms over the next few days, hope it all goes well and look forward to your BA.

TG - Nice to see you, glad to hear the SPD is lifting and hope you get everything sorted in the next few weeks

Tabs - Happy Due Date Mrs!  When will you start Operation Baby Out!?? Accidentally lose your mobile for a week or so!

WW - Good buy at TK Maxx I have found some great stuff in there and matalan!  Good luck for your acupuncture session, let us know how it goes!  R u having your curry tonight then?

Me - Not much to report still feel really well, apart from early morning wakenings, but I seem to have got used to them!  We have been on a baby shopping mission this morning at matalan, asda and got a couple of outfits from mothercare!  I think its just hit me that I only have a couple of weekends off between now and my due date because of the shifts I work and other stuff we have planned!  It was really productive though and nice to chose a few bits with my H as I imagine when I finish work I will be getting the last few bits on my own!  H is starting the nursery tomorrow all it needs is a paint and a border putting up and then we can build the furniture etc!  I think reality is slowly beginning to kick in eek!

Hope everyone is having a restful saturday, am off to put my feet up on the sofa and see what delights saturday tv can bring!

    evening all

I thoguht i'd better check in before anyone thought history was repeating itself.

Anyway here I am 3rd trimester and hoping to stay for more than a week this time.

I'm a bit sore today and very very sleepy as i had a terrible night.

I will start doing personals on monday when my eye is better and i can look at the screen for long enough.

My due date is 8th May 2010/

baby out vibes to all those that want it...

  • Re: ***Saturday 3rd Trimesters***

    Evening all,

I have spotted some 3rd tri ladies posting on other threads so will do personals as some of you are around.

I seem to have spent most of the day sleeping or hitching so not very productive but never mind - I am allowed a rest once in a while!! Will attempt the work stuff this evening when H has gone to work

Mrs SA - hope all is progressing well, if not best of luck for tomorrow

TG - hope you got things done whilst A and H were out. Glad to hear that your spd has improved - I can guess your due date as its so close to mine - shall I add you to the list?

Tabs - wouldn't blame you for turning phone off, me and H are already planning to (and we haven't told anyone the baby's due date)

wodger_woo - that was a good deal on a sling. Sounds like it will come in useful with your busy life. Hope you managed to relax as well as clean today

mrs sparklycat - sounds like you had a productive morning with the shopping. It feels so good when you finally feel like you are getting somewhere.

Sparkling - so nice to see you. I hope you manage to stay a while and get to experience late 3rd tri. I will add you to the list.

Has anyone seen Mrs Vickyloulou or digitialskittles recently - both seem to be MIA and was wondering how they were.

Hi CD - did you get much housework done in the end?

I havent seen either around that recently, although I think DS was on one post earlier in the week?

I am still here, still having period cramps, I have tried timing them, but its a bit of a constant ache, does seem to be getting more intense every 3 minutes or so for about 20 seconds but that is it, and had gone off during the day. Really not sure what to make of it still. Oh well, will just see what happens. Really hoping that SS is off with her baby owing to her absence.
