I asked my H whilst being stitched after L's labour if we could have another one!  Think taht was the gas and air talking though!

I have been broody for months now.  I get all gooey when I see tiny babes and also a bit envious of pregnant friends as I find it all so exciting.

I was on crutches for the last 20 weeks of my pregnancy due to SPD and in a lot of pain.  I wouldn't want L to miss out on his mummy as I would not be able to run round after him like I do now.  He is 13 months and definately not a baby anymore.  He has just learnt to run and is a proper lovely little toddler now.  I want to make the most of him for a bit.

His name is down for a pre-school so we will probably try and have a 3 year age gap.

After I had J, I started getting broody about 3 weeks after he was born.  After a while it went away but came back again when he was 1.5 - 2yrs and when he was 2 yrs 2 months, I found out I was pg with N.

After N, I have to say it was about 3/4 mths until I started feeling broody.  I think that was due to his birth being quite painful and off putting.  He's almost 9mths now and I so desperately want another.

If I'm being realistic, we'd need to wait until the sometime next year before TTC #3 (so the baby was born in 2012) as we'll be much better off by then.

It's really hard when you want to try for a baby/another baby.  The next year will race by and you'll be TTC before you know it.

We have been broody ever since we got married 6 years ago, but sadly even though we have fallen pregnant four times since 2007, we have lost each baby, 3 pregnancies ended in miscarriage and the fourth pregnancy ended in an ectopic pregnancy along with the removal of my right fallopian tube.  We would dearly love to have a baby of our own, but it doesn't ever seem like it is going to happen.

For me, it's when they are just moving out of that tiny newborn phase.  I remember when George was born in Eastenders it made me really broody and I had a baby asleep in her basket next to me!  She could have only been 2 or 3 months old!

As they get older I get less broody.  When we decided to ttc #2 it was more a head decision than heart.  When she was tiny I was desperate for a third...now I'm not so sure

I got broody properly when O was about 17-18 months. He was going through such a lovely phase so lulled us into a false sense of security! He is going to be 27 months when this one arrives, hopefully any day now!

Deedee - Thank you.  We are slowly coming to terms with what has happened to us, but it has been a difficult road to travel on.  We are currently looking at other options open to us.

Handbag - Thank you. We are looking down different avenues, but all the time hoping and praying that we fall naturally and that this time it will stick around.  I have PCOS which doesn't help.

With my first I starting getting broody when she was 18 months old.

With my second an hour after I had him I remember saying to my husband that I wanted to do it all again despite only wanting 2 originally.

I have been really really broody since he turned 1 - he is now 3 and I cannot wait to start ttc for number 3 as I am that broody.
