We did the long distance thing (he lived in Belfast) for aaaages, split up a couple of times then he moved over in Manchester in 2004/2005

Honeymoon - Italy we think - it could change!

Part of wedding you are most excited about: Honeymoon - will be first proper holiday in like 6 years!! Also having all our friends + family in same room.

Part of wedding you are most excited about: Everything! Saying our vows, wearing my gorgeous dress, seeing my lovely H2B at the front in his kilt, having our lovely meal, dancing the night away, the wedding night (), the honeymoon.

Favourite part of Wedding Planning: Again, everything! I have loved how involved H2B has wanted to be and just been so thrilled to be planning with him!

Least favourite part of Wedding Planning: I'll agree with Mrs Spink to be on this one- the waiting!

Least favourite part of Wedding Planning: Agreeing with Zippy here - the saving! Think it has hit home how expensive these things are recently . Oh and also, the wedding cake and wedding favours. Just can't get excited about things like that!

Met H2B: October 2006 at work....we then didn"t see each other for a year until he came back to cover some holiday in the store I was working in October 2007, got chatting on facebook and the rest is history :)

Got engaged: Christmas Eve 2009. He hid the ring in one of those DIY crackers!

Getting Wed: We have two provisional dates at two different venues and we can't  make our minds up! Either 26th August 2011 or 3rd September 2011.

Venue: Hothorpe Hall or Quorn Country Hotel

Colour Scheme/ Theme: Not decided yet,but probably some shades of purple or lilac with maybe ivory and a hint of silver

Honeymoon: Hopefully the Maldives, with maybe a couple of days in Dubai as a stopover

Least favourite part of wedding planning: I'm horrendously indecisive and seeing as how much trouble I'm having making the first decisions (the venue) I can just see this getting worse as there becomes more and more decisions to make!

Least favourite part of wedding planning: having to make final choices about whether to book a supplier - always second guessing myself and doing excessive research to make sure I have the right person/price!

Got engaged: The day after my birthday in 2008, we were walking on the beach in the evening and he got down on one knee in the sand and everything!

Met H2B: 5th August, in a club through mutual friend. Friend was leaving country and having going away party. Found out a couple of years later myself and OH actually didn't want to go, but both got dragged by friends. Am very thankful we did, otherwise we may never have met!!

Got engaged: On Christmas day last year. Myself, OH and his two children spent xmas with my family, and after all the presents had been done, he made a wonderful speech, made me cry (and the rest oof family) and got down on one knee. Only my Mum knew, who had the champagne waiting on ice. I was in total shock and still can't quite believe it.

Colour Scheme / Theme: Looking to have all pastel colours, pale blue, pale pink, lilac, pale green and yellow. Based around my favourite sweets/mashmallows

Honeymoon -  2 weeks in our favourite resort in Cancun, Mexico. Moon Palace Golf Resort & Spa... Can't wait!!!

Part of wedding you are most excited about: Saying "I do!" and having a huge party with all my family and friends.

Favourite part of Wedding Planning: haven't done much yet, but I love reading all the magazines and surfing the internet for ideas. Can't wait to find my dress
