We went to a wedding fayre today - met the DJ (I booked over the net so hadn't met) and discussed when he will need playlists, payment etc. Met with the florist again and found somewhere to get our wedding rings from.

Ive had a good wedding weekend 2, done most the invites from pocket fold def reconmend I have had to super glue them together but they are really nice as soon as I get the inserts I'll put a flash up! sorted the music as well

And.... I have a week off work yay so I can do loads of other wedding things!!!

how soon are you are did you send out your invites????

i'm sending mine out 10 weeks before with a reply date of 6 weeks before and people keep saying i'm too early?

venue want payment in full 3 weeks before so i want proper numbers in plenty of time!

Wedding plans = 0!  Hen do, guest list, after party... nope! However, I did mention that the only shoes i've seen and loved are pricey and OH said that's fine, if i want them :D

Had a nice meal and went bowling and drank lots of wine!  I'm now in pj's with more wine...can i mix white/rose with red? After this glass i will have run out of red! Or is that a disaster waiting to happen?!

Im sending our invites out about 10 weeks before with an RSVP of 6 weeks before I know this is abit earlier than most recommend but OH family and friend live ALL over the place including friends in China etc and as almost everyone will need a hotel room Im giving them the best chance of getting one!!

WEdding is 7th August. I have the date of 19th April in my diary for sending out with RSVP deadline of 30th June - final numbers due at venue on 17th July.

I know it sounds really early, but then there is time to 'upgrade' people if I have some no's

i'm sending mine out now (just under 11 weeks to go) with a reply date of 7 weeks before. gives me time to chase up any that haven't replied.

hey guys, weekend's and week deays seem to merge into one for me atm whlist im waiting to start work. didnt have the best wkend tbh, me and OH had a massive argument about something really petty which ended up with both of us in tears and his mum laughing at us (which did get us both smiling tbh) and im still feeling very weepy as im worrying about my lack of money.

on the plus side though, despite the row, we had a nice day at OH's parents and started to have a think about save the dates and wedding invites (MIL is making them for us), she's made some really lovely samples already. today we went to my parents for tea but OH got called into work to sort out their IT system just as we got there!!! very annoying, but he got back within the hour.

so now he's playing on COD MW2 and im on here whilst watching 4 weddings..............and yes we're friends again

I win!!! Mine went out 18 months before! Well people will have to make it their summer holiday! We'll send the after party ones out a bit later! That reminds me, i must start planning that!

We only got engaged a couple of months before I sent mine and the venue had only been booked about a month so was pretty much the first thing we did.
