how are we having our hair?(om join in pls)

My hair is short, and I won't be growing it very much for the wedding. I'm going to ask my hairdressers advice next time I go in in a couple of weeks, and I fancy wearing something in it if pos. Any of you om's with experience of this please advise! Thanks.

think mine's going to be a case of whatever its doing that morning!!! i have no clue where to start for my hair, it rests on my shoulders and is incredibly curly and has a life of its own so any suggestions would help!!

I want my hair like this, with a sweeping fringe and a side chignon.

I've cut and pasted on top my customised Alice band, which is a piece from a tiara I liked, then loads of ribbon. With the Alice band I've also added a couple of strands of ribbon that dangle down (I'm not explaining this well). I've included that because I often wear a hair ribbon, with the ends trailing to one side (picture with red hair is me), so I think it's quite a 'me' thing that I wanted to keep on my wedding day.

i think i want a half up do kinda like this one, though i also like the idea of a hair vine... not sure how i'd have the hair vine in. maybe a thin hair band instead

but also kind of like the idea of ahving it all up... maybe like the eva longoria one ppl have put up here? or if my hair was straighter, then like this

i loveeeee my hair dresser, she was amazing..... all the old dears at the salon were wondering why I was getting a wave n set put in at the age of 35 lolololol....... i didnt want to take it out at the end of the night!

1940s Elizabeth..... fingerwaves were more 30s but I wanted something Eva Peronesque...

The hair comb started as the vintage brooch to the far left of the comb and Kelly at White Fairy designed it for me........

1940's why i never think? lol! that really pretty, and its stand out just prefect, never thought anything like that of that comb.. i bet you hate it when you have to take out in end of night... but you got photographs to keep in memories... or get married all over again lol!

thanks elizabeth...yeah taking out all the kirbys was a pain and brushing out the hair spray hurt!!!!

everyone talked about it lots and my hair dresser said it was nice to do something more exciting than normal wedding hair!    I tend to have a vintage look about me normally so i wouldnt think twice about having it like that again!

teehee your hair and comb were stunning from the back - don't think I've ever seen a pic of the back of your hair like that.  It was beautiful
