Really sorry to hear you are going through such a rough patch.
It certainly doesn't solve anything long term but maybe ask your GP for sleeping tablets. I know they helped me when I couldn't sleep and was thinking very dark horrible thoughts because just getting a bit of rest did make the next day easier to deal with instead of being shattered, emotional and anxious all at the same time. If the GP isn't too keen on giving you any, a lot aren't because they are highly addicitive, then maybe ask in the chemist for some herbal remedies.

Luckily I work in a place where stigma with depression doesn't exist, it simply isn't tolerated, but you should be able to tell your work what is happening without the fear of any negative effects so I'm really sorry to hear your work wouldn't be helpful.
You will get out of that rock bottom place in time so just take one day at a time. xx
