Thanks everyone. THE ring has been chosen, it is been made as we speak! It is going to take 2 - 3 weeks to make (boooo!!) but I know it will be worth the wait. Just annoying as the 1st thing everyone says is 'oooh, lets look at your ring'!!!
Everyone was really suprised and happy for us.... even more suprised when we told them we had already booked it 3 months ago!
What did everyone do for an engagement party/celebration?
We are awaiting a call back from a local swanky restaurant/bar to see if they can accommodate us for a private meal but they are not sure if they can do the numbers we would have. Other than that, it may be a party at the local cricket club!!!
