OT - Now who has snow?!

Loads here too. Just waiting to here if the school is closed (which will be a bummer if it is, as we live opposite!)

Road outside is pretty clear though. It's so pretty!

I've just turned the locla news on and apparently in my town we've got up to 10cm of snow in places!!!  Just hope H can make it home ok this morning.  LO is desperate to get out there!!

Just west of Reading & I woke up to 2 or 3 inches this morning

We are just outside gatwick, and we haeve about 4 inches or so. It started about 11pm last night and its still snowing on and off. I was off work today anyway, but it was t's morning at nursery when I get stuff done, but have kept him home as don't want to drive in it if I don't have to. Have fun everyone!

I'm in Leeds at the moment and there is snow on the ground and its snowing again.

At home which is in the vale of York there is more snow.

We now have no heating at work so i think i might have make the journey home again.

We have snow Essex/Cambs borders! It's not too deep as such but it has blown and banked up. Snow plough has been down the road twice this morning.

Working from home as didn't fancy the 40 trip to the office. Plus means i get to wrap up in my duvet and have the heating on which is good!

Ours started coming at about 9ish last night and was pretty thick by 1.30am (toilet trip). H was not impressed when he got up at 5am to see it covered as he has to walk to the station with very slippery shoes! I love snow but I hate that it's so dangerous. I'm stuck in today as it's really slippery outside my house and last time it snowed I fell badly on my back - not taking any chances with this big bump today, and also at my local shops all the hooligans teenagers use it as an excuse to pelt snow balls at everyone who walks past.

ETA that I'm South East London

I'm in Kent and we had loads of snow overnight, about 6" so far.

Had to drive to work in it at 7.30am, it always amazes me how people drive like complete morons - it's like they have no idea that snow makes the roads a bit slippery! Some guy went pelting past me crawling along at 15mph, he must've been doing 40 and lost it and ended up in a bush. Twit.

5 or 6 inches in Cambridge!

Pretty bad here in South Lincolnshire! Was supposed to be working on office work today, but decided to work from home in the end rather than risk 20 mile drive to work.

I'm in Leics/Rutland and its not that bad really. Maybe an inch of settled snow at most, and its stopped snowing now too.

Think its quite bad at my mum's though (Herts). A good 6 inches of snow down their way!

A few more inches in the Scottish Borders this morning! H got the bus to work this morning as theyare going out for work meal at lunch time so I'm supposed to be driving into Edinburgh to pick him up later. Main roads will have been cleared but I have 3 miles of dirt track/lane to cover first and i'm bricking it! I span our old car twice on the lane last year and I@m dreading it happening with sarah in the car, although the new car has automatic 4x4 that kicks in I've lost my confidence it snowy driving after last year but H has no other way of getting home... *gulp*
