    Hi,

At the moment I just have the H&M camisoles with normal tops, but my friend was visiting today wearing a "boob" top.  She really rates them.

Do you have any recommendations of breastfeeding tops?

    Thanks!

I bought some BFing tops from H&M. Tbh, I found just wearing a vest underneath my top and doing the top up, vest down trick exposed less than the BFing top did. I think I wore them about 3 times and gave up.

I have several BF tops from Jojo, and one from Blooming Marvellous.  The ones with the ties in front are quite flattering as they detract attention from the belly, but it can be a bit difficult undoing the ties with a wriggly 7 month old on my lap.  The ones with a flap which you lift up are easier.

Avoid Mothercare ones as they are strangely attatched at the bottom which means you end up taking the whole thing with you when you lift the top layer up - useless as it exposes just as much flesh as normal tops.  They also have splits/holes down the sides rather than at the front.  I bought a couple once and just couldn't work out how they thought you could feed in them - took them back for a refund in the end.

I've just fallen foul of this so good advice. Although the vest tops are nice.

i wear my normal tops with a bump band underneath - i have one bf top but sarah tends to dribble milk all over the place so I end up with huge milk stains on the top! Therefore its better for me to have something that is right out of the way and let the bra take the brunt of it!!

Phew, I just bought a couple of the vest tops to get me through the last few weeks of pg and also for post baby.

Agree about the Mothercare t shirt ones, the double layer is useless! Unfortunately I'd already de-tagged it and worn it by the time I realised...

I love the ones I bought from Mamaway.co.uk - several different styles and really don't look like nursing tops. I also have a few from H&M that are good. I never managed the vest down thingy, and I like to have a warm tummy in winter, so I wear one every day now.

    Hi,

Thanks for the replies, I'll avoid mothercare!  I'll have another look in H&M.  I also like the look of the mamaway ones online.
