A little help please? My invitations are a bit boring!!

I've made my own invitations (just a simple design with tartan ribbon and thistles) and I'm really pleased with how they have come out, but the insides are so boring! At the moment I've just got plain black text on plain white paper...any ideas to add a bit of something special to it? Was thinking about watermarking a swirly patter on the background or something but not sure it goes with the rest of it!

Can try and add pics if needed. Any ideas gratefully received!

As I always say, simplicity beats complexity and by that I mean that maybe the inserts are ok as they are and adding watermarks or whatever might make it too "busy" looking.

If you can post some pics for us to see we'll be able to help better.

Nope, your not just being nosey, I totally agree!! Although I sneak a peek through the peep hole if theres something going on in my close So i would say I am pretty nosey... lol xx

Love it! Just like me. There was a bit of a row going in next doors garden a few weeks ago and i must have put 10 bin bags outside one at a time just to see if I could find out what it was about The worst things was it wasnt bin bag day for another 3 days.

You would love my close, theres always a drama going on!! I have a VERY noisy updsairs neighbour who I wouldn't miss if she moved out!!

I hear her if she's happy(she has a weird laugh, sounds like a monkey!!), sad(she wails or screams at her OH. lol), or in the middle of some very private bedroom activities. (this does not need any clarification) Believe me, trying to drown it out just makes it louder!!

I would die if I thought my neighbours heard any of the above

Oh yeah and she has this stupid little dog that she lets bark in the close, and you can hear her going SHHHH, but instead of taking it out/in, she leaves it in the close till it stops xx

baby sarah please post some pics for us to see, its hard to give advice without seeing them (FWIW i prefer plain with invites so i will prob love them!)

Honesly, You'd think she'd be a bit more quiet, is your neighbour preggers?lol Mine is, hoping she'll move to a bigger place when the baby comes, which should be any day now, if its not already here, infact I haven't heard her at all tonight...... xx

Haha my upstairs neighbour was preggers. I'm not surprised as I also used to hear the delights of their nocturnal activities (she could have won a grammy with her acting skills) luckily she has now moved out and we now have mysterious neighbours that we never see or hear, but they have all the lights on all the time. OH thinks theres a cannabis factory going on upstairs
