Anyones baby taking Domperidone or Ranitidine

Molly is taking both of the above for her refulx and I am just wondering if the dosage should be increased as she has put on 3lbs since reflux was diagnosed.  Does anyone know if the dosages should increase with weight?

my DD was on both until she was 3 years old for severe reflux, the dosage went up about once a year so I would say your probably ok with 3 pounds gain but as your gp if you are not sure.

with eleanor we didn't increase the dose with weight as the idea was to wean her off it so as she grows the dose becomes smaller.

However worth checking with whoever prescribed it to make sure that's their intentions.

zoe's doseage did increase but it had stopped working.  i guess if it is still working it's fine

thanks ladies, think I will mention it when I next see t he doctor.  At the moment all is going well, I suppose I don't want to go back to square one but in the same instance I don't wnat her to be taking medicine she doesn't need

samuel is taking both, at, what I understand to be the maximum dosage. It was increased to the current dose when it wasnt working. I wouldnt want it to be increased (even if it could) unless there was a clinical reason  - ie - it wasnt working.

Sammy's weight doubled but his dose didn't increase. As Sparkling said, as they get bigger they should grow out of it supposedly! He did actually
