Good morning All - hope everyone is still asleep! My H could'nt sleep so woke me up as he was lonely!!!! Men...

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to Max2607 for her post on Friday. I was so tempted to go back and delete it as I thought I had shocked everyone.   Dd some serious thinking and agree that I probably am in shock about the whole thing! I had so mentally prepared myself that it was'nt going to work and that we would be off to the fertility clinic in January.  Anyway - I'm going to go and buy some more tests tomorrow - so at least I can see the ''Pregnant'' again!!! Tongue Tied

Anyway - enough from me. sorry or going on so much about me - thanks for the support on here

Wishing you all a fantasic Sunday - we're off to a match in the German football League so hope our team win!!

    Hugs to All

    xxx Sue

    Morning All Wave

Sue - it is a maaasive shock when you get the positive isn't it?  With our first we were trying for about 9 months and I think I got so pre-occupied with the thought that I would never get pregnant, when I did I hadn't quite thought through all that it involved and that we were going to have a baby! Strange isn't it!

Well, as for me, I feel really sick and actually was sick last night which was horrid.   Went to bed about quarter to ten - rock and roll! Hubby is being really understanding, I am so boring at the moment!

    Debs - 8 weeks ish

    Morning all,

Sue - I don't think I saw the post you are talking about but I hope you're feeling better now. Have a fab day today!

Debs C - Ugh, sounds horrid, poor you. Luckily when I had nausea I wasn't actuallly sick - I hate being sick and get myself worked up into a right state. Hope you feel better today x

As for me - went to bed at 9pm last night, had to record the second half of X Factor as I couldn't keep my eyes open! Just finishing watching it now with a bacon butty, yum. We're off to the Christmas market in Leeds todaywhich I'm really looking forward to.

And I've just realised I only have one week left to wait before my private scan next Sunday!

    Hi all.

Sue, I bet it is a shock after trying for so long. We were only trying for about 5 months and it was a big shock to me, especially as I had written off that month. I did pregnancy tests for 2 weeks after finding out just to see the words 'pregnant' on them!

Debs C, I don't think I've said hi yet, maybe I have but if not, hello! I'm feeling really sick today and put paid to our plans for today as I feel so rubbish so you totally have my sympathy.

Mrs Lord, enjoy the Christmas Market. I wish I had the energy to do something like that!

Well like I've said, I'm mega tired, really fed up and feeling sicky again, although not actually being sick which is the positive spin on this. My boobs are still sore and all I really want to do is curl up in bed, which is where I am now. We were going to go to the pub to have lunch and then watch the Everton V Liverpool game (Husband is a red) but I really don't feel up to it, so I'm sending him on his own later. We usually go to the inlaws on a Sunday and go to the Sunday meet up but my husband's dad won a competition on Thursday so they've got tickets for a bike show in Birmingham today so no lovely sunday lunch for us today. So doubly gutted that I've not got the energy to go to the pub for food! Do pubs do take out?!

    Morning everyone,

I didn't see your post on Friday Sue, but know what you mean about it being such a huge shock! Hope your football team wins today!!

DebsC - ooh I'm not looking forward to the feeling sick part.....I wonder if I can avoid that completely? I hope you start to feel better soon x

Mrs Lord - Laughing at you being in bed by 9pm ROTFL Although I don't think I was that far behind you!

Nichola - Sorry you are also feeling sick. I'd definately order a take out if I was you, in fact I think its probably compulsory on a Saturday!

I'm still feeling incredibly nervous about the whole thing. Still getting AF cramps, but I think thats everything growing as you say. I know I shouldn't wish my pregnancy away but I'm not enjoying it at all, I'm just waiting for something to go wrong and then getting cross with myself for thinking like that! Bawl

    Good Morn afternoon ladies!

Sue! Glad to see you are accepting it a little better  (roll on worrying about morning sickness now - although I've still not had any!!)

Debs - I hope you start feeling better soon, on the plus side, its a yukky day so staying in and chilling in pj's all day isnt a bad idea!

Mrs Lord - ooh xmas market = fun! and a scan next week = super fun, I'm sooooo jealous!! - are you allowed your nhs scan too? some ladies have conflicting stories.

Nichola - mmmmmmmm how was slatterys? Pubs (here) dont do take out, but I have been excercising my right as a pregnant lady, and OH went to tesco this morning to get anything I wanted (I only wanted milk though - not very rock n roll!)

Tigger - I had cramps until about 2 weeks ago, I though I'd made it all up and was waiting for AF, cue peeing on more sticks and a complete waste of £11 on the one that tells you how many weeks....I didnt know that it only went up to  3+  - I was 6 by then *sigh*

AFM I was up til 12.15!!! went to a vietnamese retaurant then to the pub and played cards til the pub got empty, didnt even feel tired :) No sickness, not too much tiredness maybe a little emotional (my cbm gave birth yesterday to a little girl) but all is good!

Off to a comedy night tonight with Jason Manford and frankie Boyle as guests :)

Afternoon lovelies xxxx  Hope you are all ok xxx

I am gonna cut to the chase today.....I feel AWFUL!!!  Double tired and double sick Sad  And have actually been sick over the past few days too. I thought 7 weeks was too early for feeling this  bad. God knows how I am going to hide this at work. I am eating ginger nut buiscuits and drinking coke...but not feeling too much better. Any ideas ladies???

I had a late night last night so don't think this is helping.  I have banished Mr. Munchkin to the pub, prefering not to be irritated by him today when I am feeling so rough!!  So have the afternoon to myself...to hitch and generally be lazy on the sofa!!!

End of "woe is me" rant!!! xxxxx  Laugh

Lots of love to you all xxx

Sue - yes I think you are in shock, I was not trying for as long as you, yet still find it hard to believe that it has actually happened.  I am worrying that something will go wrong - analysing every symptom or lack of symptom.  I still testing (I think I am addicted!) as this is the only way I can believe that it has happened for us.

Debs - I was trying for 10 months and I think you do focus on just getting pregnant and not the fact that means you will have a baby!  Sorry you are feeling rough - hope you start to feel better soon.

Mrs Lord - enjoy your day out

Nichola - hope you feel better soon - get your H to bring you a doggie bag!

RCT - Hug sorry you are so worried but it is understandable, however cramps are prefectly normal

Max2607 - glad you had a good time last night and are feeling so good

Munckin - Sorry you are feeling so rough - hope the lazy afternoon and Coke and Ginger biscuits make you feel better.

AFM - felt a bit queasy a couple of times yesterday and this morning and don't seem to be able to stop eating so have stocked up on lots of fruit and health snacks!.  Had to buy new bras as my underwired ones were too uncomfortable.  Trying to relax and enjoy it, but then I do stupid things - like doing another Clearblue digital and worrying why it was still saying 1-2 and then having to spend time googling to reassure myself.  Going to the GP tomorrow then it will seem really real!

Hello all.  Dreadful rainy day, yuk.

Sue, honestly don't feel bad for being honest - I am sure it is a shock reaction!  You did the sensible thing of focusing on what to do to get pregnant (fertility clinic etc) rather than obsessing about actually being pregnant.  Which is why you're suprised to have bypassed the stage you expected (fertility investigation) - but I am sure it will sink in!

Debs, I know what you mean, the TTC takes over and you get so into that you forget about the actual resulting baby!  I know that for me it was all about the BFP then I was like "Oh yes - there'll be a baby at the end of this!"  Sorry to hear you're feeling ill, just keep resting up.

MrsL - I don't think you missed much in the second half of X Factor.  It's not the same without Jedward...!

Nich - I hope you feel better later.  Having to cook when you feel rough is not nice.  Hope you got some rest.

Hello RCT - stay calm if you can my dear!  Hope you're enjoying your Sunday as much as possible.

Max - can't believe you stayed up so late!  I haven't been up after 11pm since the BFP so I am v impressed.  And also v envious you're seeing Frankie Boyle - where abouts is the gig?

Munchkin - I am on the sofa too!  In terms of sickness remedies, sorry to give you yet more ginger ideas, but ginger beer works for me, as does crystallized ginger pieces.  And lemon drops / fruit sherbets.

Daisyb - hope all goes well at GP tomorrow.  I'm not sure if this is the norm, but my GP didn't do any kind of test on me!  I was thinking about it earlier, I could have made the whole thing up - there's been no blood / urine test, nothing!  My only contact with healthcare profs has been going in to declare the pregnancy, then going in for swine flu vacc.  But I do have an appt at the hospital this Thursday when I am hoping something might happen (!) - not sure what, I'll only be 10 wks so doubt there'll be a scan...

Anyway, no news here.  I feel very tired as our lodger was up till about half-five in the morning and I slept really badly.  I've been napping on the sofa, and have a headache, but no nausea - whoop!  Off to the cinema later, and till then, I will just listen to the football.

Good evening everyone (if anyone is still around!) No personals from me today as I've been out all day in London doing a kind of real life Monopoly game with some of my young people from St. John Ambulance. Had a great time but quite wet and very tired!

Think I will get J to bed, eat and watch X Factor then go and chill with Top Gear in bed.

Glad to hear everyone is well, hope the sickness and tiredness starts to ease soon.

Good evening to everyone.  To chance of being able to do personals, have toddler trying to get on computer.  Had booking with midwife yesterday, have lovely bruise on my arm to prove it.

Am alternating between feeling nauseous, starving and not hungry.  Today I'm not hungry so am picking at things and snacking during the day while Jess and H are tucking into spagetti bolognaise, will try and tackle some later.

Feeling very bloated and some clothes are starting to get a bit snug, have asked for maternity clothes for christmas as most of mine from last time won't fit cos I'm alsmost 2 stone lighter than I was when I was pregnant with Jess.

Boobs are still a bit tender especially at the end of the day and I'm gonna need some new bras soon, these are getting a bit snug as well.

Thats it from me.  Hope everyone else is doing well.

Hi everyone, haven't been around for a while due to tiredness and nausea bleurgh!! Also had MIL staying with us this week so haven't had a lot of spare time. Feeling really yucky today, the nausea had disappeared for a few days, so thought my luck was in and it was gone but its back with a vengeance! Had my swine flu injection on Thursday, arm has been sore and swollen since Friday. Still haven't had any word for our scan yet, still hoping that it will be around Christmas as I'll be 12 weeks by then. Told our parents this week as MIL was staying with us, so it'd be the only time they'd all be around, lots of shocked faces as we only got married at end of May.

Hopefully I'll be around more this week for personals, hope everyone feels a bit better.xx

    Hi everyone

Just a quick hello tonight.  Sorry to hear that lots of you are feeling tired and sick.

I'm feeling very sick and tired today too.  I've finally managed to get hold of the midwife for my booking-in appointment though (I've been trying for over a week!).  She's coming over on Wednesday so hopefully that will get the ball rolling.

    Hi Wave

Not upto personals at the mo as feeling a bit on edge. Had some blood stained discharge earlier when i wiped but nothing since, it wasnt alot to be honest but im still absolutely terrified. Ive got all sorts of feelings going off down there again, the kind i felt when i first found out i was pregnant, a bit like stretching, pulling cramping pains. Ive had a missed miscarrage about 8 yrs ago, and i had no bleeding or pain with that, i just hope this is not gonna be a full on miscarriage. My midwife hasnt even rung me for a first appointment yet and apparently she only works part time and if her phone is off it means shes not working, great! Fingers crossed i get no more xx
