Ooooh, congrats on the job nayso

Good: Its friday and I have had the week from hell so nothing can put a dampner on the fact the weekend is here!

Good: MIL2B should be coming out of hospital tomorrow - 4 days early

Good: H2B gets paid today (I dont get paid until next week so it means I can begin spending his money 1st he he he)

Bad: Week from hell is in relation to OH having tests previously for suspected bowel cancer (what his Mum is currenty having operated on in hospital). We were waiting for confirmation from the hospital that tests were negative but he has had a letter sayign he needs an operation next Tuesday. Have called for more info but they have said they have found a lump they want to remove urgently and then they can run more tests on it. Doesnt sound too promising but doing my best to think positive!

Good/Bad: Suprise decorating we have done in MIL2B's house is all complete and looks amazing - unfortnatly, after we spent £100 on someone coming out to clean the carpets, her cat has pi**ed all over them!! Going to smell lovely when she walks in!

Good: Actually excited about Slimming World on Monday as I have been a very good girl this week!

A very up and down week for me this week ladies!

Hiya again I am sorry to hear about your OH, my OH having his test next week for check up for what happen to his dad got Bowel cancer... we are having week from hell are we?? I keep thinking why everything happen before Xmas!!

GOOD: Finished reading the most long winded book ever for uni, hurrah.

BAD: Working tomorrow, and there's a big Christmas market in York so work will be HEAVING.

GOOD: Extra monies for the wedding fund.

BAD: I still have a cold, FIVE WEEKS after having swine flu :(

GOOD: My sister is due to give birth within the next week or so!

GOOD: I got promoted at work, woohoo!

Have an excellent weekend everyone. Must remember to get me an advent calendar!

this is sad to hear, but I have to say that I love how positive your attitude is. Most people would be in despair by now, your clearly a strong girl and the fact that you and OH are keeping your chins up just shows how great you are together.

Aww Claire. Just wanted to say I'll be thinking of you all and I really hope everything's ok x

Claire - my father in law had bowel cancer - hes fine now after having his bowel removed but hubby had to test for bowel cancer and he has the gene. He will pass that on to our children also.  He goes for check ups at hosp every few years - tho is late on getting one and just keeps an eye on things. However I wish that included his diet as hes rubbish with that! It does worry me too though, so sending you big hugs......

Good: I've just had my hair dyed n cut - at home - much cheaper than my salon days.

Bad: its dark now and I want to play in my new car

Good: i'm going to (nervously) drive my car tomorrow.

Bad:The weekends not long enuff!

Good: crowd of us going for a meal tomorrow night.

Thank you teehee.... it is so sad that it is something passed through generations. He was not advised to go and get checked strangely, he just booked an appointment as he had similar symptoms to his mum. He has already ahd one operation to remove the lump but has got to go back for a 2nd on Tuesday. My finger are well and truely crossed!!
