what are the chances? (swine flu related)

Of my 16 month old getting his jab before we fly to America on 16 December? Slim? Next to slim?

They're anticipating rolling it out for under 5s 'next month'. I rang my surgery this morning to ask if they knew any more details, but they just said to contact them in early December. Obviously they don't know much at all at the moment...

I'd love to get him vaccinated before that horrible germy-flight! Sigh.

On BBC news the other day they were saying that they anticipated under 5s being called up after Xmas.  Maybe if you push though they might do it before you go?

Hmmm. I've got myself and my 2 year old booked in for the jab on Saturday! They didn't mention it being a problem - just something about giving a lower dose?

Sacred, that's encouraging. I may try speaking to my GP personally (rather than the receptionist) and see if I can convince him to perhaps push us a bit earlier in the line-up.
