  • ~ Sunday 1st Trimester ~

I'm not liking this habit of me always waking up early and being the first one to start the thread! Grrrr.

Wide awake again at 6.30 this morning. I had already woken at 2.30 but managed to get back to sleep. I'm normally one who lies in till about 10 on a Sunday so I'm less than impressed.

Other than that nothing much to report except I nearly fell asleep on the train yesterday on the way back from a meal for my friend's 30th. Was a good job my H was on the train with me.

Oh a quick response to yesterday's thread, Hannah, lovely scan pic, you must be so excited to see your bub like that! And a welcome to those from TTC who have come over. I felt strange posting on here for the first time but people here are just as friendly as TTC!

    Hello Nichola!

I was also up at 6,30, checking if S was still breathing after her bump last night (answer yes, snoring like a trooper). Still, it's been nice to have a few minutes' peace before the masses (err all two of them) wake up and destroy it. Mr M is very good about letting me nap luckily, so I might sneak one in later. Other than that, planning to pootle today. My e  bay listings are ending this evening so tomorrow with be super-busy. Still can't get the scan pic out of my mind :)

Really struggling with the slowness of this pregnancy. It feels like every day is 3 days... I have to tell myself I'm almost a quarter of the way there.

Nichola I do hope you get some rest today, trains are not conducive to good sleep you know!

Hellos and hugs to those who need them x

Morning Madonna. Luckily there's only me to worry about, this is baby number 1! Every Sunday we go to the inlaws as they have a big meet up every week so I just have to not give the game away at the meet up and the rest of the time I can snooze to my hearts content if I need to.I hope you sell lots of your ebay stuff.

Hi to everyone else as they wake up and as you pop on here!

    Morning ladies!

Not much to report here.  Still on and off nausea/vomiting and lots of tiredness.  Added to that I'm snotty as snotty can be, which doesn't help with the sickness.

I'm really not looking forward to this week, I have meetings after school on Monday and Tuesday, then H is away from Thursday until Saturday on a course.  I'm going to be shattered!

Hi to anyone I've crossed posts with,

Morning all, sorry not to have been around for aaaaages.

Good to see you here, Nichola.  I slept really badly for the first week or so, but since then, can't get enough kip - 10 hours a night doesn't even touch the sides!

Hi Madonna, hope your ebay sales go splendidly!

Hello Conanetta, sorry you're feeling grotty.  Is anything helping with the nausea and sickness?  I had a revelation with ginger tea this week...it has made a huge difference.  That and ginger nuts.

Not much to report; I feel a lot better since the first half of the week when I was really sick and (whisper it as it sounds so ungrateful) miserable.  Having the quietest nicest weekend ever, and will be watching last night's X Factor, and tonight's results show, and IACGMOOH back to back tonight - YAY!

What's everyone doing re swine flu vacc btw?  I am booked in to discuss it and probably have it on Tues morning.

    Morning everyone

Nichola - rubbish about the early waking altho it will change i have like 9-10 hours sleep a night these days! and am still tired all day. it is lovely getting a scan every week but only 1 more to go and have nothing for 8 weeks eak!

Madonna - I hope you get a nap in later, i felt the same when i was around the same weeks pregnant as you hopefully it will start to speed up once we get into the second tri!

Conanetta - Sorry to hear about the nausea hope it does not last too long for you.

Katie - I am having my jab because i work in a reception for the nhs and am pregnant obviously so i think it is important that i have it as i dont want swine flu. I have not read anywhere that there are any risks so im just going for it!

As for me - We went to Ikea yesterday and brought a chest of drawers and a shelving unit for babys room as we figured if something was to happen they can still be used anyway and this way we are spreading the cost of things out a bit we also got a little pair of booties from mamas and papas this is the first thing we have dared to buy and it is just nice to have something!

    Hannah x

Hello - it's my first post on the first tri. Glad you are all doing well.

I've got my 12 week scan on Wednesday and I'm feeling really stressed about it. Unlike my last preganancy, they are now doing the combined test which means they wont give you your risks on the day but will telephone you a few days later if your risks are high. This seems really daunting as my h will be away the following week.

Also my sickness seems to have got worse these past few days, but I guess that could be because I'mstressing about the scan.

Not sure about Swine Flu either, not feeling convinced at the moment.

Sorry, to barge in without any personals but the in laws are due any minute and we're all dirty and in our PJ's!!

    Hello

Am going to jump straight onto the first tri thread this time Big Smile am over the moon to be here!

Nicola, I have also been awake really early the last week about 5am but have been going to bed very early aswell. I didn't realise waking early was a symptom! Hope you have a lovely relaxing day today.

Madonna, I hope your ebay listings do well an you get a nap later today. I am scared about how long these next few weeks are going to take, I imagine it is going to drag.

Conanetta, hope you get less snotty and this week isn't going to be as bad as you think.

Katie, enjoy your day and I have no idea what IACGMOOH is!

Hannah, I had a quick lurk yesterday and your scan pic is lovely.

Margo, sending you lots of positive vibes for your scan, enjoy your day with your in laws.

AFM, Well apart from being in a semi state of shock still I am ok! I am tired but I have been for the last week really going to bed really early. Have felt waves of nausea over the last couple of days and that is what made me test yesterday.  I woke really early this morning do POAS and yep it still says pregnant!! I am very paranoid though and am on constant knicker watch as I am scared I will start bleeding

I want tomorrow to come so I can phone my cons and cancel my appointment at the fertility centre and organise my early scan. Once I have that organised maybe this will seem a little more real.

Off out today to visit family and see my cousin who is pregnant with twins and is due in July as well I am going to really struggle not  to tell her!

Apologies to anyone I have cross posted with.

sorry i've not been on much this week. must do betterEmbarrassed

nichola- sorry to hear you are still not sleeping. hopefully you will sleep better tonightHug

madonna- glad the scan went well and S isn't too the worse for her bump. it's totally understandable that the time is going slowly for you. Hug hope the ebay listings have made you a nice pile of pennies for xmas!

conanetta- sorry to hear you are feeling a bit pants. it sounds like a busy week is the last thing you need. take care of yourself x

katie- i've been staring at IACGMOOH for about 5 minutes before i figured it out. my brain hurtsLaugh i think i'm going to have the swine flu vac(being surrounded by germy children at work i don't fancy my chances!) but i haven't heard from the surgery to say they have it in yet.

hannah- ooh i'm very jealous of the shopping. H won't let me buy anything yet in case i change my mind and spend too much money! glad the scan went well btw.

margo-Wave i'm sure everything will be fine with the scan. we'll hold your hand while H is away so try not to stress- esp if it's going to make you feel sick!

raspberryjam- Wave i was totally the same just after my bfp- just couldn't believe my good luck. hope you are having a lovely day with your cousin x

supernatural- Wave hope the crampy pains go away soon - i think they are pretty common x

lovely to see some new ladiesBig Smile i'm ok besides the ulcers and feeling faint which thankfully some lovely ladies have reassured me are nothing hideous and just more symptoms to add to the list. dtd for the first time since we got pg so maybe the faint was from the shock of thatLaugh

can't wait til my scan on thursday- i want to see the little mite now!

Mine have not been anywhere in the same league as my first pregnancy.  My nipples are very tender, but there's none of the bruised boob feeling I had back then.  I'm putting it down to the fact I'm still BFing C and all the milk ducts etc are still there.
