Morning everyone, not like there not to be a post.

Anyway, me, my good mood has gone.  I thought I would be 1dpo yesterday, temp had gone up yesterday so was expecting/hoping another rise in temp today. But no, it majorly plummetted, yesterday was 36.31, today, 35.88 Bawl  I have  a bit of a stuffed up nose and ears feel a bit conjested, but surely that wouldnt cause temp to drop.  Also, I had spotting last night as well.

So, I think the doc was maybe right, so I am going to crawl back to lurking again or maybe just disappear completely Bawl. I really thought temping would give me some answers but it hasnt.

Wave to everyone, sorry for the downer post and hope that everyone else is having a better day.

    Morning all,

Smiley - have a totally inadequate Hug. Sorry I have never temped so don't have any advice to offer. Please don't apologise for the downer post - its what hitched is here for, to get you through the good times and the bad times. Hope you get some answers soon.

Me - CD 24 and I reckon around 10 DPO, last AF was on CD28 so still a good few days left to wait yet. I have had some twinges in my lower right abdomen and had a a bit of a sore right boob - random I know, so not sure if they mean anything! I promised myself I wouldn't start trying to symptom spot! Wave to my cycle twin nutfluff - how are you getting on?

Huge congratulations to Sue and to supernatural - fab news ladies, really pleased for you. There certainly does seem to have been a run of BFP's over the last couple of weeks - lets hope November continues to be a lucky month for a few more TTC'ers!

Have a great Saturday everyone. Good luck to anyone else planning to test this weekend and baby dust to all.

Smiley - sorry your feeling down - I know nothing about temping, was wondering if I should start as 11 months in we have no sign of A BFP - but to be honest it sounds too much like hard work.

Casa- not much longer to wait hope your signs are positve.

Hannah - Wave, sods law with the cycle thing - hope your are well

ouzey - sorry you are feeling down too xxx

Me - 4/5 dpo - usually know by 10dpo if AF is to arrive, but taken B6 this cycle so that may make it a bit longer. I am symptom spotting which is silly this early - but I have been feeling a little sick (do most cycles tbh) boobs a bit tender (are most cycles to be honest) little bit of discomfort in lower abdomen, needed a wee about 5 times during night last night (but I dont have the worlds strongest bladder) So all symptoms can be explained away - but already I have my hopes up this cycle - not good when it turns to nothing.

Anyway have a good weekend everyone - do we not need another BFP to make it 3?

    Babydust to all xxx

    Hi

Im a lurker, but just thought i would introduce myself as this is the month that h and i are officially starting to ttc! We have been married since August 08, i am mega broody and very excited now that we will be trying!!

I do have a question if you dont mind? ...I had my coil taken out in May and since then have had regular cycles of 30/31 days. However this month my cycle has been 37!! Do i calculate my ovulation day from the old 30 day cycles - day 15/16 or do i count from what i have had this month - day 18/19 i guess???  Im guessing the answer is that we just have to DTD as much as possible over the two week period?!

Thanks - i look forward to getting to know you all! xx

  • Re: Saturday TTC

First month ttc and am now on the 2ww.  I never knew how agonising this wait was! Laugh  I'm trying my best not to symptom spot but really can't help it.  My cycles tend to be all over the place, from 28 - 32 days so I'm not too sure when af should arrive.  I ordered 15 tests online and could quite happily go upstairs and use one everyday with my fingers crossed, haha!  It's frustrating that so many symptoms mirror af symptoms, although this month my skin has broken out in lots of red spots all over my face which normally only happens near af time, not in the middle of the cycle.

Hi everyone and welcome Kirsty jo Wave Big hugs to smiley, Hannah, ouzy and caz.

CD3 so boring bit at the moment. Had my hair cut this morning and got some xmas shopping done. Me and H are going out for a few drinks tonight so looking forward to just chilling today. Hoping the weather gets better later. Don't want to get my new hairdo wet as I can never get it to look like they do at the hairdressers again!

Dust to all. Hope there is another BFP soon. Good luck to casablanca, royalty and tea and toast on the 2ww, hope it goes quickly for you xx

Hi everyone xxx Whats this weather like?!?!?!

Its CD36 for me,  AF was supposed to visit last Sunday but didn't arrive. I had a stimulating treatment at my acupuncture session this week which was supposed to help bring on AF...however I am still waiting....never mind!!  I just wish it would hurry up so we can get on with the next cycle!!

Sorry your feeling down Smiley xx It gets you that way after a while doesn't it lovely!!

Lots of love and luck as always xxxx

Welcome kirsty jo.  Hope your wait here is a short one

Weekends tend to be quiet on here, so if you don't get a proper answer try again on Monday.

I can't really help with your question as i'm only on month 2 of ttc.  Have you thought about using ovulation predictor kits (OPKs) ?

  • Re: Saturday TTC

Hi Kirsty jo and welome - I had similar where my cycles were 26 or 27 days and then suddenly I had a 35 day one! I am using clear blue digital OPK's to work out when I am ovulating and to take any guess work out of the equation!

Hello all - sorry to jump onto a day old thread, but this is just quick one for Smiley - you know I was a charting addict, and I wanted to let you know that the temp drop you've described at 1DPO could be what's called a fallback rise - I quite often got that.  So it goes up, then down, then back up again after ov - it is pretty common.  And the spotting would be consistent with ov too.

I hope you're OK my dear, you sound so miserable.  How's the temp today, if you do come back on here?

*katie* thank you so much for that. So would that mean that what I thought was 1dpo isnt?  My temp actually rocketed almost a whole 1.0C this morning Laugh so today it was 36.82 ! Eek.  Had spotting and cramp all day yesterday as well, so that was 4 days of cramps since first opk.  If I still have a high temp the next two days FF will still put OV down as Thursday, so would the temp drop still be consistent?  I did have broken sleep, but still to work out effect that has on my charts.

Thank you for taking the time to write that,  I dont feel as miserable today, I just felt so crampy and sore yesterday and had been so sure my temp would rise again it gave me a bit of a shock, and made me into a complete drama queen ROTFL
