Qu for those who've made the famous flapjacks!!

Quick, help! I'm making the flapjack recipe that was originally posted by HaloHoney and I think I've added too much condensed milk. It's been in the oven for 25mins now and still isn't setting in the middle - aaargh, is it retrievable, will it eventually set??

I find that it's quite a wet flapjack any way. I would cook it until it's golden brown on the top, then cool, slice and store in the fridge.

It could be that you've used big oats so it doesn't stick together as well, but I prefer it with the big oats.

Thanks, I'm going to take it out now and see how it goes as it's starting to brown up a bit round the edges. Well, maybe that's my practice run and it'll go more smoothly next time!!

I made them for the first time tonight and it took 40 minutes! I used normal rolled oats too.

They really are scrummy! I baked it for the first time at the beginning of the week and have had to do a second lot already, everyone who has had some says they're the best flapjacks they've ever had!

I thought they were even nicer the next day too
