    Macaroni cheese!
I'm a veggie too and I hate the way you always get a mushrooms or a stuffed pepper.... I hate both!!! So macaroni cheese all the way.
I think the best meat option is good old stew and dumplings Smile

I missed the BOWL bit! ROTFL Stew and dumplings would work well.  I don't think i'd be impressed if i went to a wedding and got mac and cheese! A pasta dish, but a bit posher than mac and cheese!

Afraid I have to disagree, I'd be well impressed if I got good old macaroni cheese instead of some posh nosh I wouldn't eat. But then I am an extremely fussy eater and probably just don't appreciate fine dining Laugh

Sorry mac fans, I'm with Mrs Spink on this one.  I don't mind a home cooked rustic feel but macaronni and cheese is a bit too much lol.    Will have another think about the veggie option as I'm not keen on mushrooms at all or peppers stuffed or otherwise.  Or lasagne.

What about a beef hotpot, there is also lancashire hotpot?

They coud make a meat pie, and then beaf hotpot with french stick and ref cabbage.  My h introduced me to this when we 1st started going out.  His mum is always making it, and I love it.  Its just veg and beef so remove the meat  and you have a veggie option?  We always have on bonfire night and new year. Proper winter warmer.

We have been to a number of weddings who have had this for there reception and chil con carnie.  Gone done a treat.
