Wedding dress..

I'm sort of more Figure of 8 with big boobs! lol well they're not huge but big enough to cause an obstruction!! lol I've got my necklace, my friend gave me hers from when she got married and it's exactly what i've been looking for. I haven't got any pics at the mo as my mums looking after it for me, but it's coming dress shopping with me!! Can you not get one of the HIB's to make you one similar? x

I didn't think about HIBs! TBH i haven't looked into it yet.  I just like it and think it goes well with the dress.  My boobs sound bigger than they are!

I started looking when i had over a year to go and ordered 2 weeks ago so there is no telling how long it might take. They look completely different on to how they look in pics so try to keep an open mind when you go in and try on lots of different styles, even ones you aren't keen on on the rack. 

I wouldn't have picked mine up to try if it hadn't been in sample sale and by my favourite designer as i didn't think that much of it.....adored it and fell in love the second i put it on so there is no telling!!!! (Unfortunately sample sale one didn't fit though so no bargin for me!!!)

Well i was thinking of getting a necklace and earrings made for my bridesmaids and that could be my wedding gift to them. But when i suggested to my sis that both bridesmaids wear the same she didn't seem keen, Is it wrong to want them to match? lol Obviously they'd have a lot of in put to the design!! x

GO TRY SOME ON!!!!! When I ordered mine they said I was cutting it fine as they usually advise to allow at least 6-8 months (6 months for the dress to come in and 2 for the fittings) and mine was ordered with just over 7 months to go.  If you have less than a year I would say you should definitely go shopping (plus it's lots of fun)

Ok, So I've emailed the Maggie Sottero Supplier and I think.... THINK... Not 100% sure, I might go try some on the week beginning the 23rd. But I have no one to come with me... (I'm off work that week!!) I just feel like I need to do something productive and Weddingy!! Is it ok to go yourself or am I being completely idiotic by maybe going myself?! x

I went by myself but that's because I couldn't face going with my mum and I have no female friends.  I think it really depends on whether you're happy to go alone and whether you trust your own judgment.  I think you just know when you have the right dress.

Still waiting to hear back from the shop... but I'm now thinking I might see if a friend can come with me just to try a few on. Then I'll go back and make a final choice with My MIL2b and my Mum.... x

My god I think i'm a bit ahead of myself mine and the bridesmaid dresses are ordered even though my dress doesn't officially come into the shops until feb 2010 but i had an amazing woman look after me and she got me the dress early so i could go and try it on!! I'm lucky though as my parents have paid for my dress already and helped out with the bridesmaids so only 225 left to pay in december.

My designer is Blue by Enzoani I just love there dresses there gorgeous!!

I think you should go and try dresses on now!!!!  Remember a lot of girls on  here have found that its taken a lot longer than they thought it would to find 'the one'.  Don't leave yourself with too little time as what you think you like just now might not actually be what you go for. 

Remember the thread a few weeks ago of girls posting pics of what they thought they would buy then the dress they actually bought?

I'm going to go try some on within the next 2 weeks, and hopefully i will find "the one!" I'm sooo fussy though. I'll be trying dresses on for ever!! lol

I'm the same - v fussy but I got my dress the first day of looking which really suprised me...lol
