Ok, Zoe is going to be 11/12 months (Xmas and birthday around the same time) but we are looking at presents for when she is a little bit older.  She's getting some of the following :-

    • Happyland camping set
    • Paddling pool & balls for it to be a ball pool
    • Baby trampoline
    • Smart trike
    • Bubble machine
    • Aquadraw
    • Fisher Price dolls pushchair

Apologies for lack of capital letters - Zoe has stolen my shift key Huh?

E will be 17m at Christmas and tbh, we're a bit stuck for what to get her. She's our second child and  happy with all the toys we have for B. We're getting her a pop-up tent and a tunnel but so far that's the only thing we can think of that she would like. It'll be easier (and more expensive!) when she's older and can choose stuff for herself.

B was 16m at his second Christmas and we bought him a trampoline and the ELC whizz down mountain, both of which, two years on, he still loves.

M will be 17 months - so far he has got:

    New books

    Duplo

    More little people bits

    car & garage

    most likely a toy kitchen

Zoe is 18m now and will be nearly 20m at Christmas. Must admit, I panicked when I read your post first, as we haven't given it much thought yet, but there are some great ideas on here - thank you!!

Leo will be 16 months at Christmas and I am a really mean Mummy... He is getting a bedding set for his cot,  Dressing gown, slippers and just one toy from us, the ELC Whizz down mountain.. I figure it's probably going to be the last year I can get away with buying him something practical instead of toys! Laugh

  • Re: Mums with 16-18 month olds..........

I started looking yesterday, inspired by the fab offers thread on here.  So far I have bought W (16 months)  2 books - the Tiger that Came to Tea with a small china teaset and a big fold out Maisie book.   A wooden truck shape sorter with jungle animals and some foam things to stick on the side of the bath.  I also think he would like some Duplo.  I am currently umming and ahhing between table and chairs (animal ones from JL or similar) and a Brio train set.  Really don't want to go mad this year - last year was silly and I still have a couple of presents which he didn't open and I have kept back (they are wrapped books and I can't remember what they are!).

  • Re: Mums with 16-18 month olds..........

Daniel is getting (as I bought it all at the weekend) from us:

    Happyland Zoo

Happyland storage box that converts into a road map thing

    Happyland Christmas figures

    Bob the Builder figurines

A magnetic animal matching set thingy with sounds etc (hard to describe)

    An ITNG annual

    A Bob the Builder book

some Wibbly pig books (set of 4)

    Some Christmas song CDs

    From family he is getting:

    A table and chairs set

    Happyland fire station

    Happyland Caravan set

    Bob the builder duvet cover

    Bob the builder pjs

    Bob the builder telephone

Think that's about it - he had the following for his 1st bday (ball pool and balls, smart trike, seat back DVD player for in the car, sand and water table, ride on Thomas toy) so he really doesn't need much tbh.

    Daniel Jacob - 16/07/08 induced at 37+0, 6lb 4oz

    Lucy Beryl - 27/12/09 natural labour at 40+2, 6lb 9oz
