  • *** Sunday TTC ***

    Morning all,

Gosh, I am I the earlist rising TTC'er? I seem to start the thread on a too regular basis (hope no one minds?)!!

Huge congratulations to Margot - I was really hoping you would get a BFP, all the signs looked so encouraging! Wishing you a very happy and healthy pregnancy. I am hoping the TTC'ers current splurge of BFP's carries on for the rest of us!

Not much news to report from me - CD11 so nothing happening for me. Plan to start on the CBD OPK's in a couple of days and get on with the fun part!

Have a great Sunday everyone, good luck to anyone else planning to test today.

    Casa x

    Morning Wave

Hi Casa, I was just thinking about starting a post.  I'm up and for no good reason, well apart from needing to POAS !  Hope you enjoy the fun bit and get some positive OPKS soon

CD34 here, very strange, got 2 BFNs today (sainsbury's and a dippy - I wanted to compare lol!) still got symptoms - nausea, tummy cramps but not quite like AF,boob ache (which I never get) and lightheadedness... just wish I knew what was going on.

We did a spot of unexpected babysitting last night so I wasn't at home to post.  I can read the threads on my Blackberry but can't suss out how to log in and reply which means I couldn't say congrats to Margot... so here we go, many congtratulations to you my dear, excellent news, long may the of BFPs continue xx

Lots and lots of dust to all  xxx

Morning ladies, thanks for your good wishes, it's still sinking in a bit for me! I really hope there are more people with BFPs soon, this run seems amazing and I would love it if it kept going.

Casa - enjoy the fun part!

Birdie - Really hope you get some answers soon, hopefully a BFP x

Quiet day here today, need to catch up on housework before INSET day tomorrow - I don't have to be in school but think I will send J to nursery anyway so I can get on with planning.

One thing though ladies - it's my 30th birthday party next Saturday - how do I get out of drinking without letting on to everyone?! Any ideas gratefully received!

    Morning all!

BFN on a CBD for me this morning so pretty sure now it is over for me this month. Just got to wait for AF to arrive now:(

Birdie - so sorry it is a BFN for you too. Still have fingers crossed you get a BFP

Margot - congrats again! Could you have a couple of bottles of non alcoholic wine? Maybe even disguised in an alcoholic wine bottle?

Casa - have a good day:)

Dust to all, hope someone else gets a BFP today. xx

    Morning all

Casablanca - hope the fun bit starts for you soon.  Doesn't it seem like teh whole o TTC is spent waiting around?

Birdie - really sorry you got BFNs this morning.  I hope either you get a BFP soon or AF arrrives and you're not in limbo any more

Margot - congrats again.  If its anything like my 30th party you'll get a drink then put it down and lose it ROTFL

Ladybird -  sorry to hear about the BFN.  Hope AF arrives quickly for you.

Casablanca - hope the fun part hurries up

Birdie - the symptoms sound promising, hope it turns into a BFP

    Margot - congratulations again

Ladybird - sorry it was a BFN

Hecate - at least you found ovulation so youre in with a chance, fingers crossed

Me - CD14, started the CBD OPK  yesterday, just a circle Laugh but compared to last month i prob wont ovulate til between cd16-18. Was gonna DTD last night but I got so mad at DH, and even more so this morning. Charlotte was in bed and we heard her gipping and thought she was gonna be sick, H went upto her and the idiot gave her a friggin Gaviscon that says from 12 yrs old!! I was fuming and threw some horrible words at him including the fact that if anything happens to her then i hope he rots in hell. Got up this morning and the pots he told me he was gonna do yesterday are still there!!! (he made a point of coming and saying to me, dont do the pots cos im gonna do em) He never ever ever does the pots so i knew they wouldnt get done but thats not the point is it, its the fact he made a point of saying he was gonna do em!! Then the idiot has put tea lights allover the hearth and now there is wax allover! I was upstairs and heard Charlotte screaming "Daddy i want a wee, Daddy I want a wee" and he didnt bring her up to the toilet so i went down to see why and the f+&k wit is asleep!!! And this is my husband!! Sad

Wow it's really quiet this morning - it's usually a few pages by now!

Casablanca – Enjoy the fun part – hope it’s your month

Birdie – hope the tests were wrong and you get your BFP or if AF is going to arrive that she arrives quickly so you can get onto next month

Margot – CONGRATULATIONS! I wasn’t on last night so missed your news – have a happy and healthy 9 months x

Ladybird – hoping it’s a false negative for you and if not hope AF doesn’t keep you waiting too long.

Hecate – fingers crossed this is your month – finding ovulation is a good sign.

me - still waiting for AF - stopped taking pill (mini) 3 weeks ago today and no signs of her arriving but doesn't suprise me as pill meant no AF for ages.  Bought Agnus Castus to try and get into some sort of normal cycle but it made me feel funny and nearly passed out (v bizarre) so have stopped to see if it is a bug or something before I try again.  Def not pg as poas just to check before taking agnus castus (and going on a boozy night out - lol).

Margot -  you could ask you OH to buy you soft drinks and replace any bought for you - so say your drinking vodka and lemonade or something and orange but just have lemonade or orange. Enjoy your party.

    good luck to all Babydust

    Have a happy Sunday.

    Morning ladies

Hope you're all ok.  Margot, just drink mixers and pretend that there's alcohol in them.  So happy that you got your birthday BFP.

As for the others, sorry for the BFNs ladies, i know exactly how you feel, the being in limbo isn't good.

Me - CD 42 going to pop out to get some vegges for sunday lunch so i think i might slip in a CBD or something.  H didn't get in until 4.30am this morning as he'd been ghost hunting with his mate from work, mental the pair of them.

Hope to see more hearts on here soon xx

    Morning everyone Wave

Casablanca - Good luck with the CBD.

Birdie - hoping it is still too early for you.

Margot - congratulations again.  Was this first month trying for you?

Ladybird - sorry about the BFN as well, again, hoping it is too early.

Hecate - At least you have a DPO this month, brilliant news and hope you caught that egg.

SN - sounds like a nightmare. I hope you get it sorted with your H Hug

Pink Sunday - I used to take Agnus Castus to stop palpitations and they did seem to work, but cant think if I felt dizzy on them. Does it say when in cycle to start them?

Chids - fingers crossed the CBD gives good news to you. That is funny about your H, did he find any ghosts? Laugh

Me, CD 10 (or 9) so nothing to report at all.  Well, apart from still getting lines on opks Laugh almost as dark as control line. This getting old malarky isnt fun, I am just hoping it is a bad batch (or two, of different brank opks Laugh). Or that I am having massive surge this month to prove everyone wrong.

Hope everyone has a lovely (wet) Sunday. We had promised E a trip to the seaside, but typically it is torrential rain.

Smiley - he's still in bed so don't know if he spotted any ghosts at all.  Are you dtd lots as you can see dark lines on the OPKs?  Sorry to hear that the rain has ruined your day at the seaside.

  • Re: *** Sunday TTC ***

Smiley - it could just be a coincidence.  I have just started taking them as waiting for AF will take forever - I have read on the internet it should be CD1 but other sites weren't specific.  No AF for aggges so thought it can't hurt to start taking it.  Who knows maybe doing more bad than good.  Hope the rain stops so you can get to the beach - we're going to Silverburn so OH can look for Christmas gifts for himself - lol (and other people but mostly him).

    xx

  • Re: *** Sunday TTC ***

Chids - we are going to try, yes.  I have sort of lost enthusiasm because of doc - but well, if you're not in it then you cant win it.

Pink Sunday - we will more than likely end up in Silverburn as well Laugh.  We had hoped to go to Troon and then Scotts for a lovely lunch (we obviously were basing this on yesterdays weather).  So maybe it will be Silverburn and Frankie and Bennys Laugh

I may start on the agnus castus as well next month, if nothing more than to get rid of the palpitations again as they are annoying, and all the doc would do was offer me betablockers again, but I dont want to go down that path, as they make me lethargic and I cant be lethargic with a toddler around Laugh

Does anyone know if there are any blood test that can be run to show if you are fertilie or not? So I can go armed with information in a few months time. I do know that since we already have a child we wont get any assistance, but it would be good to know if there are any tests etc they can do for us.

    Morning Ladies,

Great news getting more BFPs, lets hope it continues

Casablanca - good luck with the CBD

Birdie - fingers crossed for you

Margot - huge congrats, hope you have an enjoyable pregnancy

Ladybird - Sorry about your BFN, but don't lose hope yet

Hecate - Fingers crossed you caught that egg

SN - so sorry you are having a bad day with your H, hope the day picks up for you

    Pink Sunday - Hug

Chids - fingers crossed for you

Smiley - hope you manage to get to the seaside, I agree with the getting old part, I felt ancient these days

Me , CD1 Sad, yep af turned up this morning, I do hate her sometimes, was 90% sure it was our month but it wasn't to be, have resorted back to using my persona kit again, we got pregnant first month using it with my daughter.  We have decided not to try again until January now so a couple of months off, we have a lot going on so probably be nice to concentrate on other things.  I am going to continue lurking if that is okay.  See you again in January and I hope lots of you get lovely BFPs before then.

    Love

    Prim

Hello all, just popping in to say hge congrats Margot, looking forward to seeing you in the 1st Tri thread.  Re not drinking, we had a big leaving do for someone at my office on Thurs night, and I let a couple of the girls know that I "had cystitis" (obv I don't, I am just in v v early pregnancy) and that seemed to throw them off the scent.  If you don't mind a bit of personal embarrassment in telling people you have a UTI, I think it is a v good excuse - you can then drink lovely healthy cranberry juice, which other people may assume is voddie and cranberry anyway!  The other thing you could say is that you're on antibiotics.  When I had a wisdom tooth problem, I was on metrodizanole, and you categorically cannot drink a drop with those anti-bs - makes you sick as a dog, apparently.

Smiley, re fertility blood tests, yes, you can get those done.  But they are expensive - I think about £170 for the one for women.  Sperm analysis for men is much much cheaper.  Good old Access Diagnostics do a sperm analysis kit (http://www.accessdiagnostics.co.uk/acatalog/FertilityScore.html).  Very quick google yielded this one for women which prior to the BFP I was thinking about too, as am 34 next month: http://www.fertilitytest.co.uk/planahead.html

Sorry for lack of personals to everyone else, but masses of babydust all round xx
